I really like that TU 250x! I'll have to look into it. Here is my contribution. I owned a 2001 suzuki GS500, bought for $2000 used, put about 500 into it to fix a few things and get new tires. This is a 2001:  Can't find a pic of a new 2013 model, but I believe they can be had for around $5k Great starter bike, or commuter, or fun economical toy Ninja makes a very comparable bike in 500cc also. Here is a pic of a ninja 500 I find attractive:  Another great beginner bike is the SV650. The first generation 2000-2002 or so can be had for around $2500:  |

I like the angles of the man on a first gen SV650. Looks nice and relaxed, not a lot of bend over (forward lean) to reach the handlebars.

I think I'm just gonna "sculpt" a bunch of JB weld on it in certain spots I'm not sure welding would work. There is not a lot of plastic to work with there, and I'm not sure I want to do it with my iron. It may mess up the end of the iron |
