The alarm may run your battery down because it's always running while the scooter is idle.

A battery with more amps maybe. But if your compression is to high you may need to add the gasket to keep your motor from going BOOM.

Ok its not april fools....so whats gives? Ill let you know. Going to be selling mine as well. This is the forth scooter I have sold in the last year and I haven't had any issues at all. I still have my honda spree listed but have a guy coming to look at it this weekend. In the four I have sold I haven't had one get past a second showing. All of my scooter selling has been good for me so far but this one was awsome because the person was so excited. Good look on your upcoming sale.

Just sold one of my scooters. Pull up on scooter and guys is really excited. He has the add printed out and a crazy grin on his face. So I start going over what all of the switches do and how to start it and everything is going well. He ask if he can text ride and from what I have seen I'm totally fine with it. He whips out his DL and the asking price for the scooter and says "Hold this in case I get hit by a truck. I want to make sure you get paid." I about rolled laughing and said "sure". Guy only weights maybe 140 soaking wet compared to my 250 pounds. He twist the throttle and it takes off like a jet, well compared to how it took of with me. Gets back and looks like a 16 year old kid getting a new mustang for his birthday. Before he is even at a full stop he is saying "sold". Best selling experience by far. Didn't really make anything off the sale but it worth it to see the excitement of someone getting their first scooter and bringing someone else into the scooter life style. How has the selling experience been for some of you guys and gals?

I still need to fill in the hole for the kick starter, sand, prime, paint, clear and buff out but I'm going to wait until I redo my scooter this winter for that. may put it on for a minute this week just to get a look at it though.

I have sold a few this year and I have let people ride them. If you feel uncomfortable with the age or they seem shady ask that you can hold their ID while they test ride. You could always hold their cash while the ride also with a you wreck it you buy it statement. I've never had any issues with anything I've sold on CL and I have sold a lot.

UGH, have way into the area that covers the clutch bell and hacksaw breaks. If I were not so cheap I would go get a dremel. lol
