Piston guy is correct again!!! I hate it when that happens,,,I'd be real Leery of the front end ,,,piston and I have talked on the phone about this very subject,,,I'd be wary of not only the speeds you'll be able to attain with a big mill but also the deflection and braking forces ,,,the single clamp forks are not up to the task and is a very dangerous situation,,,I'd be looking at getting a small dual sport or dirt bike fork set up to graft on that thing,,,,something with a real live triple tree also you'll need to address the chassis period,,,(this is just my opinion ),,,my last build (an 02 Ducati monster s4 that I built out of a st2 chassis ) I had to gusset the frame in quite a few places because of movement,,,so take a long look at the build and consider all the weaknesses from every angle,,,

It's a jamboree !!! Are you kidding?? They don't care if your walking driving or riding,,,if it were my decision I'd be going for a piaggio fly,,,made by Vespas parent company,,,less expensive ,,a great all around bike and faster than SHT right out of the box with no mods,,I had a vespa et4 got it used off craigslist for $1200 with 98 miles on it,,,it was ok but I was unimpressed,,,sold it and made a few bux and got a Stella instead,,,very happy,,,I was actually looking for a px200 vespa but they are crazy money even used ,,,found one on CL for $300 with no miles but it was sold before I could get at it,,,but if you get a chance to do the amerivespa thing you will not be disappointed

Thankyou I just happened to have those Dr pully rollers in my cart from last night. I finally did something right on my own last night!! Woopde doooo!! Ths freshman is learning. GOOD now once that is installed it's one less thing you have to think about,,,for a while anyways |
