Super Hornet video reference. Based on this image . . speculating the valve cover vent is routed to the gas tank through the white canister. Appears to have a vacuum-operated pulse-fuel-pump. This is a somewhat odd GY6 150 variation . . has bottom mounts similar to a 50.

If you can get away with the noise, might try a short test with the exhaust pipe disconnected. The objective would be to determine if the exhaust flow is obstructed with rust, carbon, or nesting insects.
