Test parasitic draw. Start with disconnecting stator . . if regulator/rectifier one-way diode function has failed, stator charging coils become a load. What are charging volts?

Use grease to lube the clutch torque driver. Use 80W- (or similar) gear oil to service rear gearbox. Apply a small amount of pipe thread compound on the rear gearbox drain bolt threads, and torque just snug tight to avoid stripping the case threads. A plastic drinking straw extension works well on the pointed tip gear oil bottles while refilling through the top bolt port to the overflow level.

Unclear if the air/fuel mixture is going lean or rich as the butterfly valve slowly opens and pilot jet flow decreases as main jet flow increases. Might try testing with the auto choke (enricher) connector unplugged, which should maintain a slightly richer mixture during the transition, for an indication of the deficiency.

Does the Delray 50 have an alarm? If the engine fires off on starting fluid . . that may indicate a fuel supply issue. No mention of checking valve clearance or cylinder compression?

The multiple dislikes in this thread by shangrila seem a tad suspect. The intimidation potential of this Like/Dislike nonsense may be discouraging posting all views in a topic discussion.

Inquire if a local auto parts store will rent an electric corded impact, or check if a pawn shop has a used one. 139QMB flywheel removal typically requires a puller.

Did the sparkplug cap "click" on? Overfilling the gas tank may have wetted the vent canister . . try a test run with a loose gas tank cap. Sometimes the type of fuel filter is the issue. No mention of checking the inlet and exhaust valve clearance?
