I've had this Wildfire 150 air cooled Helix clone for a couple years and never had any problems, till now The brake/starter switch is doing the opposite of what it's supposed to do. It's supposed to allow starting when the brake lever is pulled in. But this dern thing, starts without the brake lever pulled, and the brake lights are on all the time. When I press in on the tab/switch thingy, when running, the brake lights go out, but still no head/tail lights. The blinkers/flashers work fine. Just seems odd to me I ordered a new switch ($8.00) and will see if that makes a difference. Also, i don't believe there are any fuses (other than the main fuse) (I can't finger out how to post multiple pics to one post, so gotta make separate post for separate pics-Sorry) Attachments:

I thought I read on here that since these were just little scooters, that we didn't need helmets. That we never went fast enuf to need a helmet if we got hit. Hmmmm, I think it was prodigit who said that
I just got a candy apple red Vega modular with a red tinted face shield

70% of your stopping power is in the front brake. Get a new caliper and pads You may get maimed, but will not die Don't ride above the capability of the bike and yourself

Still not sure which POD you make reference to, but, yea, all the body panels needed to be tightened, add a few rubber washers, and just general maint. And, yes, the seat kinda sucks. I also need a back rest. My back aches like crazy after about an hour or so and 40/50 miles. My short leg needs some kinda support also, it just kinda hangs there.
But, for fun in the sun it's great.
But, I am interested to know more about what steering damper you got I still get a little vibration from the front end occasionally.
I'm waiting till I get all my mods stuff before I put em all on So far I've just done the cup holder, and chrome door edging trim abound the front fender, rear body panel, and windshield.
Yet to do the tach, cig lighter, in line blade fuse, Shark Motorcycle audio system, voltmeter. I saw a video where a guy took a head rest form a Mazda and made a back rest I've got a Corbin back rest left over, maybe I'll try something different.
Gotta take off the front wheel, regrease everything and rough up the pads. They seem to grab and squeeeellll.
But, I enjoy it.
Good health and great riding (and good fishing)
Dave
