I checked and rechecked the oil. Then drained and refilled with exactly 750 ml. Issue still remains.
Type / brand was penzoil 10-40 synthetic, then as the issues persisted I went back to penzoil 10-40 dino with no difference.

Sorry I have not followed up on this.
I was finally able to tinker with scoot again today. I did as suggested and drained the oil, then added exactly 750 ml if 10w 40. I then rode scoot up the highway for a while, hitting an incline and mostly all WOT. All told only rode about six miles, but, unfortunately, returned to find I am again blowing oil.
Any suggestions for my next step?

On the center stand, dipstick NOT screwed in, full reading to the top of the hashed segment.
Also, as to you previous post, define for me the scoot running like crap? Are we talking about a marginally noticeable loss of power, or a drastic loss?

Now do you guys think one of ScrappyDog's vent/oil catch systems be worth trying at this point? Or would this just be bandaiding the symptom and not curing the problem?

Wait, so you are saying, with the scooter on the center stand, and the dipstick NOT screwed in, full would read halfway up the hashed segment??

How bout just installing a 100cc kit? Wouldn't that essentially replace any potential issue?

I'd say less than 1/8" on the dip stick, if any.
It doesn't really smoke at all when this happens. Any smoke that I have seen was due to oil making its way onto the exhaust.

So a couple of weeks ago, I was riding to the 'upcountry' part of the island. Its about 2000' climb in elevation. I have made this ride several times before with no issues. This day I decided to go back and forth twice, to drop off a gift for the girlfriend. Well on the return trip I started losing power, and eventually the scoot died. I eventually discover that I had blown oil into the air box and clogged the air filter.
I clean the air filter, dry it, put it back in, but again after a few miles, I've dumped all my oil.
I did some searching on here and found the cheap fix of using a small fuel filter, attached to the line going from the valve cover to the airbox (this is the line that's spewing the oil), mounted vertically etc. Yet still, spewing oil.
I eventually rig it all up and load the storage with several quarts of oil, and nurse it back to town where the scooter shop is. I get it looked at, and the answer I am told is that I am simply putting too much oil in. I try to explain that this is not the case, but the mechanic insists that he could not get it to spew oil, so he says I am just over filling it.
Well I take the scoot back home, it spews almost all of its oil in the three mile ride to my house. Now I'm at a loss.
Could it be an internal gasket that's blown and allowing it to spew too much oil through this hose? If I take it to the shop to diagnosis this, I know I'll end up paying way too much.
This problem came out of nowhere, after well over 1k miles on the new bore kit.
Would it be worth while to get one of scrappy dogs products that claim to fix this?
Am I stuck taking the engine apart?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed that the original battery tray has holes in the bottom of where the battery sits. I assume these are for drainage in the event water gets in.
While I wouldn't recommend submerging or saturating a battery, it does seem that some water is typically OK. I have jumped plenty of cars in the rain and snow, and plenty of times the battery and I were both quite wet. I think with the limited amperage of a typical 12v battery, it would take quite the solid stream or body of water to conduct from one terminal to the other.
Also noticed, that at least on my bike, the original cover for the battery tray does not have a rubber gasket or anything that would indicate a need to be completely water tight.
On the other hand common sense tells us that water and electricity do not mix well lol, so I would still like to do my best to avoid water on or around my battery.

Good call on the Tupperware, I hadn't thought of that. I was thinking wrap the battery in a "jimmy hat" and use spray foam to create a custom fit compartment.

Yes, it looks ghetto as heck, I know I used extra scraps of denim stuffed around the battery and in between the batt and frame pieces to provide some cushion and reduce felt vibrations on the battery.

I don't see any numbers on it besides Napa and GS. Here is the picture.
I plan on creating a more permanent compartment for it in the next couple days, maybe using some spray foam.

I removed the battery tray from the floorboard, which allows the battery to sit in the floor. I also fashioned a hammock so to speak to support the battery and take the weight off of the plastic splashgaurd on the bottom of the bike. The frame actually supports the battery for the most part, but I wanted a little redundancy to eliminate my fear of hitting a bump and the battery falling through the bottom Not 100% sure on the CCA of the battery, but it was starting a 984cc buell with little effort (essentially a Harley motor on a sport bike). I can take a picture in a moment of how I Jimmy'd the batt in there.
