Oh how many times I've been in the same position you are now. Ordering a part and finding out AFTER the fact it wouldn't work. (no manuals on a lot of the China product) Or better yet, Breaking something while FIXING something else. So after the frustration, the naughty language, (The occasional tool chucking) and anger ....yep, Le sigh, and to try again tomorrow.

Here in the desert we have another "joy" that can send you skidding (rain or shine) ..sand. A good howling windstorm can dump it all over the place and pile up at intersections, add to that the occasional rainstorms that can flood the place out and make riding a real challenge at times. (I guess this is the "penance" we pay for being able to ride all year.)

Welcome Benjamin! (from the other side of the "pond".) Good to see younger riders taking an active interest in two wheels. you should have no trouble in finding out what you need to know from the years of experience of the members at IITR. So when you've picked out some machines you are considering for purchase (and want the opinion from people that own them) let the folks here know. Good Luck, and Happy Riding! P.S. Good luck getting your training certificate. We really don't have anything like Compulsory Basic Training in the states. (Things being much more stringent in the UK and EU.)

I have a question for you. Who is more macho, Wile E. Coyote... or the anvil that lands on his head?

I saw one of these last year in Washington D. C. and gave it the usual once-over. Nice machine, and for a 500 it didn't look big at all. High quality components, but the paint on the body panels had too much orange peel for my taste.

Well Leo, I thought for a minute something was mounted, holes drilled, then whatever it was had been removed.
