I rode in the Goodyear blimp. (it was like flying in a small plane really) Now riding in an ice cream truck in the desert would be SHEER LUXURY Plus all the ice cream you could possibly want! (Do you get more points if it's a Good Humor truck?)

Welcome to the forum Chomper! Here you'll find many answers to your questions. BTW, India has a long history of scooting, from taking over the production of the Lambretta in the 1970's to making todays Genuine scooters!

Just take it easy and be careful making turns the sand acts like ball bearings and the front wheel will slide out on you so not to much lean on the turns. Alleyoop Spot on, AO. It tends to accumulate at intersections near the curb (just where you are turning) after a storm.

Let's see... NO SNOW, Sunshine all year round and breathtaking scenery. Yep, it's "BAD" But seriously, it's Palm Springs not the Baja 500. Get the Heidenau's like rock said if you want extra traction, and just stay away from the wash after a storm unless you want to become part of the "Vista Chino Regatta"

Hi All, just to give you a guys an update. I stopped by a local scooter shop and they had the Gates premium belt which they confirmed it was the same one I already had which shredded. I am hoping it was just old and nothing is wrong with they way my variator is set up. I also brought them my clutch and bought a 1500 NCY clutch spring which they will install for me. I will then bring the whole assembly home and put my scoot back together. alleyoop I would have bought the bando belt but they did not carry it :/ thank you all for your help and replies. geh3333 spandi urbanmadness alleyoop Super! Let us know how you progress. P.S. You might want to buy a second Gates belt and keep it in your scooter. (Just in case)

Although the work being done is on an ATV, it is the same clutch as used in your scooter and may help you (technique wise) with the spring replacement.

Okay, so thanks to spandi I at least now know who WBrennan was. And thanks to that intro but it does not one thing to change my mind. Buddy all the way. (oh, and I did relate to Ellie May--loved the critters, and every now and then dressed up real purty-like) >'Kat You're quite welcome Kat. BTW, you can check out Buddy as a guy with psychic powers on the Twilight Zone episode entitled "Primer Mover" www.hulu.com/watch/440891

Never heard of Walter Brennan, and too late to bother to Google him. So easy-peasy, Buddy Ebsen. Main reason I liked Beverly Hillbillies, too. >'Kat He (Walter Brennan) starred in (among other things) "The Real McCoys" TV show. (from 1957 to 1963)

Gates premium or if you prefer the strength of Kevlar, the Bando. (I just got a new Bando belt for my 250, and it is a very high quality Kevlar belt.) Links above ^^^^^
