Not to butt in, but I believe that Bintelli is still using Znen for the Bintelli line, but adding/have added Adly 2-stroke scooters to their product line... Word is Bintelli is dropping ZNEN and I'm sure Bintelli - Justin can say one way or another? JR Will Bintelli become the East Coast Sym Distributor?

Occasionally I have some kid pull up in a small Mitsubishi or old Honda with the Raspberry Blowing Muffler yelling at me "Why don't you ride a REAL BIKE?". They usually say whoa or something similar when they get left at the light blowing raspberries and farting to catch up. A light 250 can have such a decent power to weight ratio that it can be a lot more fun in those situations than many of the heavier MAXI's out there or even a conventional motorcycle with more cc and a manual shift.
If they are more polite about it I will tell them that I have a crippling injury that makes it very difficult to work a shift and balance a heavy bike so the scooter is the best compromise to allow me to continue riding.
Truth be told though the Aprilia Sport City 250 is considered by the Italians to be a MAXI Scooter even though it is a fairly lean 326 lbs.

Yet most luggage racks are only rated for 10 lbs.
Much as I like my pets there is no really safe way to transport them on a bike. I at least have a helmet, armored riding pants, armored gloves, riding boots and an armored jacket.
A top case with a hole that can garrote them or worse in an accident does not look like that great an idea from here. Just the heat that would build up in a plastic box out in the Florida Sun could be lethal to them regardless of how many air intakes it has.

After almost 5 years and 30,000 miles on a Piaggio 250 I am really sold on them. Really have not had to worry about taking a round about route to get to my destination since getting the Piaggio 250. Following the maintenance schedule using the specified 4T Synthetic Motorcycle Lubes I have had Zero breakdowns, so if you are able I would go for the Vespa. You get a lot of reliable performance for the money and not just a glitzy yuppy nameplate as some people view them.

Its just that the units refered to as Hoverboards are only two drive motors hooked together by a bearing that allows you to tip you feet forward or backwards to change the motion of drive on that side from forward to reverse. No gyros or other balancing devices inside just a motor, incline switch and battery along with a few lights.

I use to use the roller paint bottle with the striping guide myself. I came with a number of different style paint wheels and an adjustable tracking guide that made it easier to follow the bead on the rim.
Beugler has been making them for over 80 years now:
I still have this simple one somewhere that I purchased about 45 years ago:

They do not balance themselves you have to balance them which is probably why so many new owners provide as many YouTube Fail Videos. They are self balancing in that you have to balance them yourself.
Too expensive for what you get most times.

With the weather we have been having lately the pool and AC could have waited. We only had one day in the past 2 months here were the AC ran for a couple of minutes around noontime.
Most days have been in the high 40's to mid 60's in Tampa Bay so no Pool or AC for most folks hereabouts.
Hopefully the bike will still be there. If you are serious about the bike will they hold it on a deposit?

The staff at the local Aprilia Dealer recommended Engine Ice Coolant for all bikes and although it was a bit more expensive I gave it a try just because it seemed to good to be true so I wanted to see for myself and it appears to indeed transfer heat better than most traditional coolants just like the techs said and is non-toxic too. Cooling fan does not need to run as long at stop lights and rarely needs to come on when moving despite our 115+ degree roadway temps during the 8 months of summer here in Sunny Tampa Bay.
Drain the old coolant, refill with a mix of distilled water/white vinegar, flush with distilled water, drain completely (I use a shop vac), refill with Engine Ice and bleed/burp the system.
Engine now runs at low mid of normal range instead of at the cuspice of needing the cooling fan to run.
Others add bigger cooling fans or multiple fans with some modifying the system so they come on earlier or stay on all the time however with the Engine Ice this probably won't be needed since it is that much more efficient a coolant.

Leo - Taiwan is an interesting case. They were the governmental seat of the Republic of China when the PRC was formed and had the UN seat representing Mainland China until the 1970's. Some countries still view Taiwan/ROC as the official seat of Chinese Government and not the RPC.
Plunky bunch that is for sure to stand up to the party and hold the status of the 21st largest economy in the world despite their size and relationship with the mainland. Also they are know for their freedom of the press, health care, public education, economic freedom, and human development.
I suppose you are supporting a lot when you choose to purchase from Taiwan over the mainland and getting some really decent products in the bargain.

Yes Carter Brothers was a problem back then 7 years ago in 2009 which is part of the reason that Sym took US distribution away from them especially after the fire that destroyed thousands of bikes and deemed arson on the part of the Carters. West coast distribution was then awarded to Alliance which is part of Lance. Sym has ties with Hyundai. Bombardier and Mahindra

Actually they dumped Znen in 2009 along with their entire lineup of bikes. When I was dealing with the Znen Lance Vintage back then Michael at Lance was very up front that they were doing something very drastic to correct things. "In 2009, Lance continued its focus on improving quality and value improvements by discontinuing its entire scooter entry line and reorganizing its production through exclusive manufacture partnership with Sanyang Industry Co Ltd. aka SYM in Taiwan." www.lancepowersports.com/about.html
