Pretty cool.. One of my favorite artists is a guy named Tom Thum who does pretty much the same thing only using kaos pads to loop his sound. They in no way other than a lil reverb alter his sounds like some who use synthesizers. Right around 3:38 I'm totally impressed. The boy's got skills.

But so was driving solo while attempting to handle a fold up map and a cup of coffee back in the day, GPS that talks to you has made navigation safer (for the most part). The father's reaction in that commercial is pretty ridiculous (mine would have been reading me the riot act)... Yes. The closest I have come to death while driving is while looking at a map. When I got a GPS I mounted it right in line with the steering wheel at the bottom of the windshield. It worked perfectly there and made it much safer to use than having it in the dash or over in the middle of the vehicle. I didn't have to take my eyes off of the road to use it that way. The dad's reaction is what bothered me. The commercial implies that you needn't even look where you are going and everything will be fine. It may even be true, but it's a scary thought that drivers are going to be thinking this way behind the wheel.

Wow, like a two wheeled Beemer! At over 7 1/2 feet long it is a big bike. (pity it never went into mass production.) Agreed. It's a nice looking unit. I wish there were a lot of 400 cc bikes on the market so we could get them cheaper.

Post a picture of scooters loaded down with ridiculous amounts of things or people on them, on two wheels or three, with or without a trailer. However you want. Here is one of my favorites so far. It's cute because they are letting the little kid drive: This is nothing though. Look on google and you'll be amazed at what you can do with a scooter.

I love riding. I love Los Angeles where I can generally get anything I want. I love that the scooter can generally carry anything I want. And I especially love riding for gasoline under six cents a mile It's amazing what you can carry on a scooter if you really want to

I like it in green. Very pretty. But what size tires was it going to have? And what was the seat height? >'Kat I couldn't tell you, SylvreKat. I am guessing about the same as the Helix; about 26 inches according to Google. 10 on the back and 12 on the front for the Helix tire size, but with more CCs, maybe they would have made it bigger.

Here is a nice looking scooter I saw on another forum, a mix of classic and modern design. It's called the FB-S It was a prototype that was never produced. From burgmanusa.com/forums/16-all-others/39329-why-didn-t-honda-ever-make-scooter.htmlA new-generation big scooter, the FB-S fuses a high-prestige design with a newly designed boxer twin engine to deliver a riding feel that's more like a motorcycle than a regular scooter.
- Length / 2,296mm - Width / 805mm - Height / 1,311mm - Engine type / Liquid-cooled four-cycle boxer-twin - Displacement / 399cm3
The FB-S Prototype: One more link in Honda's practicality series. Might as well call it the Helix Coast. It features a 400cc boxer twin engine mounted at the front. An automatic transmission delivers power to the rear, providing a ride that is theoretically more like a motorcycle than a scooter.I like the look of this scooter and with a 400cc engine, it's big enough for fun rides. Is there a scooter out there, produced or not, that strikes your fancy?

Hey Riders, My first time on the forums, nice to see an active community. I have a Yamaha Morphous 2006 and since it's not a popular scooter I have a really hard time finding information on it. Issue - If I give full throttle the engine stutters. (this happens around 35-42 mph) It makes me back off the throttle before I can go full bore again. This problem has surfaced around 2k miles ago, and I've yet to isolate the issue. Question 1 - I've cleaned the carb out about 5 or 6 times over the last 9,000miles. I've NEVER seen a jet to clean on it. I let it soak in carb fluid for a few hours and that does the trick. Is there jets on the Morphous? Where are the jets if so??? If you have a pic I'd be so grateful. Even soaking the carb it doesn't solve the engine stutter issue. I changed out the air box because I had a hole from when the rear tire blew up. I've done spark plug, air filter, coolant, oil, I even run with stabil in the gas tank. Anyhow I'm hoping a fellow owner can help me out. Thanks again I don't know. That sounds like it could be fuel OR electrical in nature. I think my first bike with bad points did that. Then again, if it doesn't happen until you get to a certain speed, it could be vacuum leak or fuel pump failure. The jets would be on the inside of the carb, under the float bowl. Anyway, while we wait for the pros to come and answer your question, tell me about your bike. That Morphous is a good looking scooter. How does it feel to sit on and to ride?

I just saw a car commercial selling a car with a system that is self braking.
In the commercial they show a teenager with his head completely up his rear end, watching a girl walk by as he and his father, the passenger, are seconds from rear ending a parked car.
The car self brakes, no one is surprised and what does the kid have to say? "Sorry".
No big deal. I just almost killed us and this car saved us.
What does this commercial say about the caliber of future drivers and the expectations that will be placed on them?
I think it says any dummy will be allowed to drive, with the expectation that you can basically do whatever you want, pay no attention to the road, and that will be fine.
I just hope future scooters have an anti idiot feature that stops people from hitting us if their car doesn't have this feature or it fails to work.
Maybe we DO need self driving cars, because the fusion of a dummy and a computer is bound to fail. Better to just have the computer drive and let the dummy sit in the back seat where he belongs, staring out the window, drooling on his shirt.

I enjoy the feeling of acceleration, especially in and out of the turns, being pushed back in the seat, pushed down into the seat, looking at the world moving around me at a 45 degree angle, the wind in my hair if it's warm, the "suited up" feeling when it's cold, the little shot of adrenaline when it's wet and windy, the open air freedom of sitting on something instead of in it, and watching the road zip by beneath me as I cruise. Any trip on a bike is a good one because... it IS the ride.

You're gonna hate me. Today in Palm Springs it's a freezing 77 degrees and sunshine. Saddle up and ride! You should stay inside and wait for better weather Don't risk it!

Although it would be nice to know a few true level stretches of rd . hey scoot maybe you can help me find a good spot on rt 21 between Uniontown and masontown pa. No problem, Geh.

Tell me about the helmet. I am looking at one that is similar but with blue tooth installed. I have decided that being comfortable is worth a few bucks and I no longer want to "tough it out" like I used to.
