Jonway Magnum I will dig up a picture if you want me to of the ports . The 50 it was D shaped where the 75cc is O so it flowed better . It came with 6g rollers . I tried 4g but it over reved and did not go as fast . I mixed them to equal 5g . My dealer thought lighter weights would help me go above 8K but it and a racing CDI did not help I thought it was the exhaust port and the pipe but after running the pipe with a BBK it is obvious it is the port that limits the top RPMs .
Mine is a rear facing carb which has a 19mm TK where many only have a 17.5mm .

I bought a TaoTao ATMa and on day two it cracked the piston but it still ran but at less than half of its power . Had the shop rebuilt it since under warranty . I blew it up 6 weeks later . I had a mental meltdown since in all of many years of two wheeling I never once had a piston problem . After my meltdown I decided to do research sincxe the China stuff is not like Honda quality . I then joined the old SD . I posted about my issue and tada my dealer had replied without knowing it was me LOL . I was suggested the 50mm Air Sal kit by another member and the scooter gods were smiling on me as my dealer had just gotten two of in . It is much higher quality of material and craftsman ship than that secret 63cc kit they had .
Always check and change out the oil often . Also make sure to upjet the carb to avoid running lean which has damaged many engines .
Another advantage of a 2T is that I NEVER do oil changes , I used to top off the oil tank when I got gas but now that I premix as long as it has gas in the tank it has oil as well .

I bought a PM Tuning sport pipe and it would not line up on the 49cc engine . I put on a BBK and it lined up but the head bolts are such a pain to get to and I did not think the stovk pipe would line up . Once it got the PMT pipe off the stock one lined up perfect . I found it was easier to leave the bolts in place and wiggle the connect between them . I had a heck of time finding the hole the first attempt . The first time I put on the PMT it was so freaking loud that it reminded me of a Honda CR 80 . I thought it was the muffler not the pipe so I switched mufflers . It may have even been pitched higher since it had a smaller nozzle . I had lost bottom end pep but once the RPMs were up on came the powerband . I echo off of buildings , had my ears ringing and made many people jump and cover their ears .
On Christmas Eve I put the stock pipe on as my treat to my neighbors . One had given me 20 dollars to do it . It must be 40 decibels quieter and take off has the wow factor even with 8g sliders were most run 4 or 5g . Mid range is way more peppy . I can still hit 10,500 RPMs as I also thought it would max at 8K like it did when it was a 49cc . So my theory that the exhaust port was too small may be the reason for the 8x max . I had put on a racing CDI it made no diff on top end . it runs so darn good that I smile every where I go . It can still hit 50 MPH on the speedo but it is screaming so I know I will have to get a taller gear set and lighter sliders soon . What is crazy is that I can can go faster up a large hill with a running start than I can down it .
I now can feel the 1.5k Hoca clutch springs on take off as I spun out in the grass by accident from the start after the pipe swap . I do use the PMT muffler on it since it is black like the pipe and has a larger nozzle . Plus it looks like carbon fiber which is neato to me . It has a reed valve just before the expansion chamber but I taped it off . It is not as loud and runs better than when it was blowing out exhaust .

% yes it would be a whopper but geared and tuned plausible . I am looking at a single ring Stage 6 kit that claims to make 17 HP with the right pipe and jetting .

I have the hoca bb torque spring base on my 2T ( also available for for the 4T ) and it prevents the torqure spring from binding and has smoother " shifts "

Did you install a larger main jet ? If not you are running lean with the exhaust mod
