I haved the anticorrosion gel for lightbulbs for years with great results . Well my boot on my stock coil was rusted up where the sparkplug connects . The stock was a crappy design IMO . I just got the redhot coil from Scrappydog and noticed it is rubbery , which may seal out moisture better . It is always humid here in the Foothills of SC as I am just below The BlueRidge Mountains .
I was wondering if anyone here uses CorrosionX in their sparkplug boot .

What size engine ? Any mods ? Remove the spark plug and see if it is wet from excess fuel

I just got my coil and it appears to be a better made item compared to the stock one . I hate the crappy boots on the China coils . Will put it on after it warms up a bit and report back on how it works today |

Golden . Many companies like Pennzoil but a blue dye in it so it would be faster to tell it was mixed with gas if you premix like I do . My oil tank cracked and would leak out my oil .

If you premix you would want to cap off the oil inlet port .

All Maxxima 2T oil I used was in a black bottle and was synthetic blend . You may have full synthetic or premix only as what I use says oil injector safe or premix . Some is premix only . I am happy with it since its 10 a quart . I tried Pennzoil for 6 a quart and make it smoked like crazy . The best I have used is Motul 710 full synthetic with boric ester but hate paying 17 a quart for it . The Maxxima has the orange sticker on the bottle on the kind I use

My stock coil corroded inside of the cap . Today I ordered the red hot coil from Scrappys and will post how it does in two or so .

My throttle cable only had one lead where the Mikuni oil pump I bought requires 2 leads . Part # 159-26 from PFS . Now when you install the pump you want to bleed it by using the kickstarter several times on the oil line . My oil tank go to leaking real bad , so I premix instead . It is a hassle compared to using the oil tank but it is a more for sure way to know you are getting oil . It is a fail safe like if the pump , tank or a line went bad while riding .
