Cool beans on your new toy ! I was going to buy an Adley but my dealer sold out and I bought a Jonway Magnum which was similar . The model they had looked like a handsome boy body style , like the Peace VIPs have which reminds me a lil of a YamahaZuma with the twin headlights . If you are hitting 50 it is not restricted . You may opt for taller gears and lighter sliders or rollers . I prefer Dr Pulley sliders myself . My dealer said the Adleys had a green and a pink wire limited the RPMs . Before you cut it do some homework and make sure you can put on a butt splice in case you need it reconnected

Can you kick start it ? A car battery has way too many amps to jump start a scooter . I suggest getting a trickle charger around 1/2 amp to keep the battery charged at night since cold weather can weaken a battery .

I rode my 2T on the interstate for a few miles and man it was skeery . I have ridden my Echarm on the interstates a few times as it cruises at 60 just fine but above that it gets sketchy . One night I was on the interstate and danged if they did not groove the road by shaving off the top layer in order to repave it later . That was worse than driving drunk . I NEVER recommend anyone driving while impaired but I have a few times when I was younger as I am sure many of us had done so in our youth . When I had streetbikes I heard the draft of a semi trailer would pull me down the road . Me being me I can not take ones word for things so I had to test it . Sure enough if I got close enough and pulled in the clutch the draft pulled me down the road . It is waaaaaaaaaay too dangerous as I had to get so very close . I ride on highways with no worries but on a 150cc scoot I do not like to hit the interstates .
I can say for a fact if you have a speedy scoot getting the tires balanced and replacing the OEM tires with decent or premium tires is a great idea to do . Before on OEM unbalanced tires it had a terrible wobble above 60 MPH . Balanced took out the shimmy but a draft from a dumptruck going the other way made me swerve around .

I had bought an universal muffler for a 250cc for my Echarm since the muffler is clamped instead of welded together . The stock muffler is heavy duty unlike most and bolted right to the frame ., Well the aftermarket muffler had no bolt holes . It came with a strap and I bought the mount kit that was posted above from PFS . I figured the triangle piece would work but instead the other one lined up perfect .
You are asking about a 50cc correct ? If so ever thought about trying a pipe for a 2T engine ? I have read where a few have done so and with good results . The forward curved style with expansion chamber have heavy duty mounts compared to most 4T exhausts . I love how my 2T it has two bolts at the head and two bolts in the rear instead of using a strap . I have seen two scooters where I live with this setup and one without the muffler . I was shocked at how good and deep the exhaust note was and that it did not sputter and was not too much louder than stock . When I had a racing pipe on my 2T with a BBK it was so darn loud it make my ears ring at high RPMs . Sounded like a Yamaha YZ 80 .
I was surprised to see how expensive many generic exhaust kits can cost . There was a guy on You Tube who cut off the muffler end , removed the baffles , welded the cap back on , cut off the nozzle tip , bored out the exit port and welded on a wider tip . He also put on a carb for a Honda XR 80 since he had a BBK the stock carb would need to be upjetting anyways and in some cases replaced with a larger venturi carb .
NEVER run it without a muffler unless you put in a few sizes larger main jet . A buddy of mine had a mishap while riding and broke off the muffler . He got mad and kicked the pipe causing it to only be a short stub . I told him not to ride it as is and even gave him a jet kit . Well he did not follow my advice and it ran so hot the head on the exhaust valve broke off and ate up the head , piston and cylinder , which required a whole new engine kit . I have seen many that exhausts that are made out of pot metal that just rots and crumble apart .

Now you want to order online and have it shipped correct ? I have read many horror stories about some that have done this as to why I bought mine locally . I have boocoos of shops in town and luckily the best one is 4 miles away from me . They change the oil and gear lube , upjet the carb , sometimes put in lighter rollers and replace the vacuum and fuel lines and fuel filter . Almost all scooters should have this done to keep it running more trouble free . They come with crappy oil and gear lube that should be changed before you ride it . I had a buddy he went through all kind of hassle when he bought a lemon but luckily they sent him replacement parts for free . I prefer they fact that if something went bad I could take it to the shop while under a warranty . Would not be worth it to have to pay shipping to them for repairs . Some come with cheap vacuum and fuel hoses that have been known to crack or collapse . Use a string to measure each one at a time then ad up the total length and go to any autopart store and some fuel hose and a fuel filter if they have a small engine section . Here is a link you would want to go to and bookmark it for PDI tips x1scooters.com/pdi.htmlAsk around about every online dealer you may be interesting in buying from and check them out here for any complaints www.bbb.org

I used to have Honda scooters and many pedal mopeds and motorcycles . Well years later I got the bug as I hated spending over 80 a week just in gas for my van and I bought a TaoTao ATMa 50 and hated it . It cracked the piston on the 2nd day and blew up 6 weeks later . Put on a BBK and it ran so much better but still rode and handled terrible . The headlight was so weak it felt like a candle . I love ,y Jonway Magnum with its Handsome boy body ( like the Peace VIPs and others use ) which is similar to a Zuma with dual headlights . I can see so much better . The wide 130mm/60/13 rode some much better than the TaoTaos 3.5x 10 tires . Peace and TaoTao are about the same . You may get lucky or get a lemon 50/50 chance . Read this about the TaoTao ATMa 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/3849?55014=undefined

Ever heard of a CFMoto Glory ? It is liquid cooled instead of air , has EFI instead of a carb and have F&R disc brakes instead of drum brakes . Best part is it has a 2 year full warranty with unlimited mileage www.scootersus.com/cfmotoGLORY.htmlI have a CFMoto Echarm with EFI but it seems only the carbs are around unless you get lucky to find one with EFI . CFMoto engines are stronger than the standard GY6 , have a better CVT , 12 pole stator instead of 8 or 11 poles . I got a warning ticket for doing 72 MPH on my Echarm from a HP . Now the catch is a CFMoto dealer must do the first oil change at 250 miles for the warranty to be good . You can then change it yourself to avoid labor costs .

Try replacing the fuel filter . The fuel pecocks are known to go bad . I have a TK 19mm carb and it is easier to work on . Luckily I have a rear facing carb ss I can get to without removing the seat bucket or body panels . . Inspect the fuel lines and vaccum hoses . Is the vacuum hose hooked up to the intake ?

Ether one would be sweet to have . The 4T looks like a tricked Rukus but ouch on the wallet at 1500 . The Rocketa I heard some had to drill a hole in the gas cap to allow venting . Replacing a carb is not that hard nor expensive . Here is a carb for 40 www.scrappydogscooters.com/50CC_2-STROKE_PARTS.html Go to Harbor Freight to get a engine compression kit for 20 . If the PSI is less than 120 you may need a new piston and rings . Rebuilding the engine is so much easier on a 2T . Once you remove the fan shrouds only 4 nuts on studs are removed the head slides off . The cylinder you just slide it up by hand . I used compression ring pliers to put on the rings and snap pliers for the wrist pins . Make sure they are in snug . Lube the everything with ether a good 2T oil or engine assembly lube . Squeeze the rings in order to get it started int o the cylinder . Once you are past the second ring a gentle tap with a soft mallet it slides down . Then just pop on the head and tighten up the nuts . A BBK only costs a lil more than a 49cc rebuild kit and well worth . I put on a 47mm kit and yahoo it is much stronger and faster . you will need to play with the jetting until you get it dialed in . Plenty of how to videos on YouTube with only basic hands tools . I would try to fix the Beemer as it would be much cheaper unless you can afford a new scooter now and fix up the Beemer later as a project . I prefer a 2T since they are less to service like no oil changes or valves to adjust and the best reason is a 2T will outr un a 4T all day long with mild tweaking
