Awesome! Thanks again for the advice. I'll be doing this stuff in the next couple of weeks so I'll be back on here when I screw something up! Haha

Thanks, jjoshua20213!
For the air filter and main jet, do you recommend anything in particular, or are they basically all the same?

I'm looking for some advice. I have a BMS Federal 50cc that runs great, but I live in Baltimore – a city of many hills. I don't like to be a nuisance on the road, but my scooter takes its sweet time getting off the line and especially climbing hills. On some of the bigger hills, I usually get 20-25 MPH. It's not bad, but cars and mototrcycles around me are going 40-50 (most are speeding, but who can blame them in a city with such terrible traffic).
So, I'm looking at Bore Kits to get me closer to 100cc. I've been reading other posts on the forum about the kits, seen some horror stories and some success stories. I'm pretty convinced I need to juice this baby up, and I can handle some downtime if I break anything.
So, I found this one on Amazon which seems pretty thorough, but I'm not sure if I need the 64mm or the 67mm version. From what I understand, the BMS Federal uses the GY6 engine. If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi there! I just joined up and wanted to introduce myself and my ride.
I'm riding a BMS Federal 50 that I picked up from a private deal on craigslist. I've been riding it for nearly 100mi so far.
So, I'm new to the scooter scene, and it looks like this is the kind of place I can find some help and answers about the thing. Glad to be here!
