Probably was aluminum,,,easy to make by hand,,,if that " cured" the problem ,, pull them and have them remade in tool steel by a machinist,,,they will last a lifetime

one is the drain plug and the other is the "filter " screen cap,,,you have a gy6 correct?

And I'll add if they try and stiff you with an outrageous bill just dispute it with the card,,,I'm sure Jim from rapid repair will chime in here,,or if not contact him he is a icebear dealer,,,he'll sort it out

What you need to do is check the control voltage to the solenoid ( the relay you found ) to see if it is bad or that there is 12volts going from the starter button to the solenoid,,,,take two wires one from the positive and negative from the battery and hit the control terminals of the solenoid to see if it will fire

yes i agree ,,it is way porky for a scooter in my book,,,and also i'm not sold on the auto trans,,i still prefer a manual box

They do work well I had a throttle meister on my bmw as well,,,,a world of difference

Cables or one of the other terminations is loose,,,or could be a bad solenoid,,,or starter,,,start checking the terminations
