I have heard that the CDI's are subject to failure. During my check, I took the spark plug out and it was black and covered in gas. I wiped it with a rag and put it back in. And upon first crank, fired right up. I will order myself a spare CDI just to prevent down time in the future.

When trying to start my Vento R41,it almost turns over but wont fire. So I am going down the list. I have a Blue "performance Cdi",should the light blink when starting or should it be constant. Thanks
