I run 15W-40 diesel oil...though I WOULD run synthetic on a hot-running air-cooled scoot.

LINKWant! It's big enough to act as a portable scooter GARAGE, even for my big Q-Link!

It's EXPENSIVE. The class and the test cost me damn near $400.

Ah, the highly colorful grizzled characters of the previous generation. Hardened by years of worldly experience. Whether they be opinionated, arrogant, or just plain ornery, you're not going to make a dent in their day.... Been there, done that, had the t-shirt. I have been doing "Forum" stuff for over 30 years, since the 300 baud BBS on dial up, Fidonet, other nets, on that new-fangled "internet" stuff, newgroups, etc.... years. Have been SysOp, moderator, owner, blocked, kicked off. Anyhow, question: how did "alleyoop" become a mod ?I will assume that this place is similar as any place. If you want to be a mod, ask, you cannot be. If you don't want to be a mod the administer will tag you as being a mod. Same as dslreports.com did to me -- I logged in one day and was a mod. "Huh?" "You are a moderator." "What do I do?" "Whatever you want. If you see something wrong you can fix it. " Being a mod is not fun. See that "Report to Mod" at the bottom. When I log into the forum I can do look are what I want to see. When a mod logs into the forum he sees the list of messages that people tagged "Report to Mod." Before a mod gets to have fun, he has to look at the messages that need to be fixed. And it is the same crap every day! You cannot pay me to be a moderator. What a steaming turd. One constant on every board I'm on: when someone is a moderator, they NEVER give up that power! The crocodile tears that they have it soooooooooooooo HARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD! make me laugh.

First off, it's a Camero. Not like it's a good sports car or anything. Not a 'Vette or Pony or even a Firebird. Second, seriously, if you're gonna' bling your car, then might as well do it to the hilt. The whole point of doing something like that is to get attention. And you have to admit, that's gonna' get EVERYONE'S attention! >'Kat The camaro WAS the original pony car. The Mustang was fords attempt to capture the market from GM. Camaros are among the most desireable of the restored classics . Many sell in the 6 figure range The Camaro was THIRD, dude...Mustang & Barracuda in 1964, Camaro, Firebird, & Cougar in 1967.

Unfortunately tire dressings migrate as tires are in fact pourous. On a motorcycle tire as the tread is not flat the dressing will migrate more quickly to the treads and while that may not be very noticable on dry roads you really do not want to find out how it reacts while going over a wet railroad crossing or while traversing a metal grated bridge. We have one of those Swing bridges in New bedford mass. It's well over 100 yrs old. The mid section has a metal grate roadway. I crossed that bridge on my scooter one time and one time only. NEVER AGAIN! They have cobblestone roads in the historic district too. I stay away from those ;Dand I use nothing but soap and water on my tires. That bridge is US6 between New Bedford & Fairhaven, right?

Would this be the appropriate place to call the truck driver a "rockhead"? Or to observe you had a rocky day? Hey, come on...stop throwing rocks at me!

Having known a couple people with 4-banger S-10's, I'd expect low-mid 20's from an auto, 25-27 from a 5-speed.
