howdy, welcome to the forum. i'm not qualified to give advice but will give an opinion. any policy will require liability with some level of medical coverage. in our area it is also prudent to get uninsured motorist coverage as well. I don't carry any comprehensive coverage though I don't think it is all that expensive. for me in Oregon the liability etc. costs about 100 a year. there's my 2 cents worth. that said, your state may not require insurance at all for a machine under 50cc. your call , then

howdy, I don't know the answer to the why but I do know I just came from spain and the pcx 150 is highly popular. you might also want to check the offering from kymco which will also be a nice scoot and a bit less. it is also popular in spain.

howdy and thanks fer the pic. that's exactly what the scoots I saw looked like so maybe there are several models that use that bar and gauge set-up.

howdy, thanks fer the promise of a pic. the reason is kinda off the cuff. I told the gentleman that I didn't think that was a stock set-up especially since the two scoots were very different except for the identical handlebar and gauge set-up. since they were owned by the same person, I thought he had aftermarket upgraded them. maybe not---

howdy, I just stopped at an out of the way Harley customize shop because I saw a couple scooters outside and wanted to make acquaintances and see what they were. they had handlebars like that and a similar tail trunk. I simply can't remember what brand or model. it was a three guage cluster and bars that looked that shape.
would you possibly be able to post a pic of the bars and gauges then i'll get back with the model numbers. they both had those bars but were completely different otherwise. interesting

howdy, the center stand has been broken for a while. I've noticed the scoot kind of tending to go a bit to one side when coming off the center stand. so last week it really tried to fall over when I tried to take it off and I looked under and saw a weld broken off the tab that fastens the stand to the motor. I took I by the dealer and he took it off the scoot and found the tab had never been properly welded , only tacked. so he removed it and welded it and put it back today. there is one of the two headlight bulbs burned out but they didn't have one so I stopped at an auto parts and bought the bulb which I just changed out. that may save me the ambarrasment I had the other night in town when a car pulled out in front of me and when I honked they blinked their tail lights so I checked and had no headlight which is why they didn't see me. anyhoo it's fixed now. the bulb lasted 10,000 miles though---not so bad.

howdy from a little to your south. I think the Oregon scooter club is somewhat close to you as they get together for rides on weekends with starting locations downtown Portland.
