I had a few problems. I had to ziptie the hose that came with the syringe- it popped off the end of the syringe making a mess. The syringe is not the easiest to work with- once it gives in to the pressure you apply it's easy to go crazy with it, just ask my ceiling in my garage....
I'll do it again and take my time with that syringe.

Anyone know off the top of their head about how much brake fluid goes in these 50cc chinese scoots? The farm stores biggest syringe is 35 milliliters....at least thats what I saw.

They have some cool styling parts.
EDIT: they also have the 22-toothed sprocket crankshaft--- which nobody really gives two craps about labeling that way, props to them.

Yeah it's kinda a bummer we dont't have a site like that with all the parts here. Sorry I'm not much help, but the parts in the states arrive about the same as scrappy.

Carefully look at EVERYTHING, while tearing it apart. I don't mean just pull the cylinder off-- right off the bat. One thing at a time and closely look at every piece you take off.

Break out the ratchet and sockets and start tearing the top end apart--if you're absolutely sure your carb is fine.
How many miles on the 63cc?

Are there any good scooter magazines out there? When I bought my crankshaft from racingplantet, in the bottom of the brown box was a scooter magazine that is no longer being made, as far as I know. It was over 3 years old, nearly mint condition--- an issue of "Scoot! magazine". I wanted to sub to it, but after a bit of research it appears it's no longer printed. I really liked flipping through it.

egads, that really is lazy, 'drive. Were you so very lazy that you bought the pre-mixed pb&j that's all in one jar? >'Kat No joke---- I looked at the pre-mix P&J, had it in my hand but didn't get it. I bought the Planters brand peanut butter, and the squeeze bottle of jelly--- I hate doing dishes.

tired (yawn).. 3:30AM and no one online? I was actually at the grocery store, at 3:30AM, when I read your post on my phone. I would've logged in then, but I was really craving these crackers with peanut butter and grape jelly. Not even sandwiches either, I did it the lazy way and put the P&J in a bowl and dipped Ritz crackers in it....

Did you check the valve gaps? Maybe they weren't set properly from the factory. It's worth looking at for sure.
I always check the gap clearances with a new engine---- just to make sure they're not way off and to make sure the timing is set properly. I have a hard time trusting stuff like that---- I guess it boils down to possibly ruining a brand new engine, and possibly out a few hundred dollars.... not to mention being without the scoot running for even longer.

I'm surprised that a lot of the part suppliers don't sell an item to remove that gear. It'd be nice if they did, but maybe there is some reason that they don't...or maybe some scooter site does.... hmmm..
This topic comes up several times a year, and the answer is usually-- rig whatever you can, try a certain puller..etc. which is fine. I guess whatever works...
