The one in the side is a special screw. The throttle stop screw could be more easily replaced. A shop that deals with motor cycle carbs should be able to get a replacement - it is a Honda carb clone. www.amazon.com/Pathfinder-Scooter-150cc-Carburetor-Carb/dp/B00AR3LJC8If you pull the cab out, the screw may be underneath it - My Xingyue had dropped a float bowl screw and that was found on top of the motor when I had the carb out.

I got a couple items from him and have him saved as a fav seller. I need to order up a black muffler and exhaust for the Znen, and probably a better variator kit, too.
I do wish there were better descriptions. and I messaged him a question he never answered. But he did answer other questions before.

Personally, having a second carb for making changes and tuning makes sense - I write on the top what jet and number of spacers for the needle, then I set the other carb a bit different. A second carb could also be good for spare parts....
Is it the idle air screw in the side with the pointy tip or the external idle screw that stops the throttle return? The external screw could probably be replaced at an Ace Hardware - though I don't know the dimensions.

The picture display changes hour to hour, at work or home. I normally always use firefox. Sometimes a refresh works, sometimes not. Either way there is always a full page or more to scroll down before you get to any threads.

nuts can do tons of damage. On the other hand, you are running with the missing nut possibly in the case, I feel if you have oil in the pan, you aren't likely to bounce it up into the cam chain or anything.
If you are very lucky, maybe the nut will fall out when you pull the drain plug or the filter screen. I'd lean the bike wll over to one side or the other then open the plug or screen.
A magnet on a flexible aluminum wire is nice - it can get into the corners better than a magnet on a telescoping stick. I do not know where to buy one. I know one guy with one if I need it.

check his earlier post in this thread Here's how I installed my aftermarket exhaust on my VIP50 which appears to have the same setup as your scoot: s483.photobucket.com/user/cruiser66-bucket/slideshow/VIP50%20exhaust%20mountThe flat bars are 1" x 1/4" flat aluminum stock and I used sockets from a cheap socket set for the spacers. A couple of the pictures show a small right angle bracket on the end of one of the bars. Didn't need it in the final install.

three rows include the title, then two ads, and the fourth bit for me is the pictures, sometimes a single scrolling row, or like now, 6 rows, = the thread starts a long way down the page. less annoying with a PC and a mouse, more annoying on the laptop with a touchpad, and I wouldnt even bother trying this forum on the Android I think I've attached a screen shot - I did shrink everything and go to full full screen, so there are fewer rows of pics Attachments:

yes, if you can weld without blowing extra holes in the pipe or muffler. chrome and paint and very poor quality metal can make it difficult

My only break down was the cap falling off the plug - the spring that keeps it snug against the plug tip was missing. On the side of the road without a screwdriver, I was able to slip the cap back onto the plug and that got me home. Ordered a new coil with lead and cap from Scrappy's, and that is still working today.
