high 12V near idle, 13.3 on the dash meter, 13.8 on a DVM at higher RPMs, measuring directly at the battery while running. Measuring the black wire from the rectifier, to ground = 0.00, and the DVM back on the battery is the same - 13.8.
When I turn on the key, the dash meter shows 12.8, and when the fuel pump stops running, it is 12.9 - that is before cranking it to run.
DVM directly on the battery, pre-key on = 12.99 or 13.00 V. Key on and let the EFI fuel pump run, it drops all the way to 12.86V

I did 83 miles round trip, WOT most of the way, 53mph max one way, hit 66mph (tail wind and a huge hill) on the return leg. I only slowed for the city roads, and stopped at the turn-around point long enough to have a good drink of water. The air temp was in the 80's, strong wind, like 25mph so I had head wind all the way down and tail wind all the way back. I am pretty sure that was after a fresh upjet, so I wasn't running lean. About 62mpg average for the round trip. Xingyue ITA 150.

more like 2200. I had to collect 10+ minutes of data to send, and I held it at a bit over 2k for a while then up to 4k for a bit, stationary. I'll try to remember to put a digital meter across the battery when I run a new log tonight. It isnt idling on its own yet, so I am not getting a chance to check stuff while running. I also realized last night that that changing form the AC CDI to the CD CDI included with the EFI kit, I need to rewire for the kill switch. The key switch works, and I have a manual petcock, and it stalls at idle right now. But the kill switch does nothing.
Also, the headlight is now HID, BUT when I ran the engine before putting all the plastics back on, with NO headlight, it was the same, just over 13V

on my Xingyue ITA 150 GY6B, tvnacman's 11-pole stator, 7-wire rectifier and magneto bolted right up, with a bit of rewire. Original rectifier was up front. I put the new rectifier right over the CVT case since I had added an aluminum plate for tire hugger support when I removed the airbox. I have to waterproof the harness connections. Still working with the EFI, so haven't checked the new charging. The V-meter on the dash -aftermarket - shows 13.2V. I happened to be reading over on the buggydepot site and found a 6 or 8-pole to 11-pole upgrade harness. While not cheap, it may have saved a ton of time and most of the stator upgrade harness hack. I did not use it (since I only today even saw it) but maybe someone else may wish to give it a try and write it up. www.buggydepot.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=600If I decide to upgrade the Znen, I will go for this.

There are buggy forums too, like: buggydepot for example and several others, who could have better answers about buggies in general.

more than 20 seconds - heat the aluminum around the stud. I would heat it for a bit, then a shot of PB blaster or WD40 or whatever your handy penetration fluid is, just against the stud so it can get sucked into the threads - This also cools the stud a little. Heating and expanding the aluminum and cooling shrinking the stud is what I would aim for.
I would try and cut the groove a bit deeper - as deep as possible without wrecking the case.

this pic from valley scooters - the same dash as my Znen, has a 'phone' looking icon, I've not seen it lit, and have no owners manual. I have no idea what it is for.

If you remember him, BlueFront had cut holes and glued in PVC fittings and screwed in plug. I made a couple holes, and immediately had to cover them with duct tape until I up-jetted, then I left the tape off.
Now I am going with EFI upgrade. New header and muffler, new intake runner with open element air filter.

Good deal. My New Geo Tracker had a bulb like that. Also My Xingyue had a flickering headlight, the contacts on the base have no spring quality, and loosen up over time between heat and vibration. I 'fixed' it several times before I hacked in an H4.

I have a Uni I should get rid of. I oiled it, and wrung it out, and then shook it out, but still left oil all over, possibly even oiling the spark plug - I couldn't get the scooter so start with it on, AND I was thinking about the rain, so I got that ATV air filter.
If I think of it later, I'll get the dimensions and post it in the pay it forward thread.

I want to see the url for that spotlight! I have a couple LED driving lights, not yet installed. They are like looking into the sun, but LEDs just do not cast the same light as a florescent or incandescent. I have different cheap head/miner lights I use for working on stuff at night, and the light is usable , but they wont light up the road. IN close quarters under the hood of the van or whatever, is good, but I think even nightcrawler gathering would be weak.
