Took EFI scooter for a short ride to record data. The outside air temp is below 68F the thermocouple on my meter was just above 70C.
I was riding slow, residential area, nd still tuning the ECU, wouldnt want to run lean or anything. After shutdown, it rose to 103C, and has already come back down to 72C
Extra holes for suction would still need to be on the left side of the motor.
I could imagine a new scoop at the fan side outlet, that is a venturi so it suck more air through the faster you ride. No matter how fast the fan is working.

removing or changing the vin is probably illegal.
Putting a 150 motor into your 50cc chassis is the more legal option.

Took apart my other carb on my last engine, and I'm embarrassed to even post what I found..... probably why that crank went out. What was it? Tuesday I bled the rear brake on the Znen after I forked it up myself on Monday. Today for the Xingyue, I got the new pressure regulator, installed, checked and verified the fuel pressure, removed the Tee, ran a 10 minute pass to log data for Ecotrons. Took it for a short ride.

While I am working on my Xingyue EFI conversion, I drilled a small hole in the shroud left and rearward from the intake manifold. The thermocouple fit nicely. Running for 10 minutes stationary at RPMs up to 7000, I saw 68C while running. After I shut it off and looked back after a couple minutes, I saw 93C and dropping. Now down to 85C.
I did not clamp the thermocouple to a fin, I just shoved it in a hole, and it should be between fins. Stock fan, new EFI conversion.

I haven't seen one in a while, but that looks pretty good, and a pretty low price too.

i just need the fan(s) to try.
couple - Thought that word was in there someplace. I wanted to use a much larger word, so I crammed that all together.

I think a tube PVC, maybe reduced a little - with a simple manometer could give an idea of intake airflow. It doesn't need accuracy, it just needs to be able to show a difference. I may see if I can wiggle a Bar-B-Que thermometer into the plastics. The probe is a little large. Oh - my multimeter has a thermo-whatchamacallit that would work.
I just need the different fan to test.

The fins are reversed from the stock FAN, as much as they look like FUN.
I would like a better fan. I still need to fashion scoops - both of my scooters have body work in the way.

I haven't taken apart the clutch at all yet. The springs may be weak. At idle it is grabby, jerking continually waiting at lights. Idle is set to 1600. The plate calls for 1700 +100. Earlier I thought maybe it was just the heavy rollers and 2000 idle.

Maybe it modulates the brake lights also, doing a little google search, I found this: dx.com/p/motorcycle-brake-light-double-flasher-for-yamaha-fuxi-jog-light-grey-194692- Function: Brake light double flasher - Power supply: DC 12V - Special for Yamaha FuXi, Jog - Effect after fixing: 4 steering lights will flash at the same time when braking; Open the steering light while braking, the control chip will jump to steering light automatically
