I had only the yellow wires disconnected. The meter automatically switches for AC or DC. I was going to try another meter, but the batteries were dead and dinner came along.

black wire disconnected, 13.4 at mid range RPM, brushed regulator side black wire to ground, no change 13.4
Idle or rev'ed: Yellow to yellow, yellow to yellow and yellow to yellow, all = 0.0V
yellow to yellow 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6 ohms, lead to lead.
Pretty much looks like I'm getting nothing out of the stator.
And now it is raining. }=

Tear in the diaphragm is never good. Replace it, either with a new diaphragm or with an entire carb. I have a manual petcock you can have. I've misplaced the screen, but you can take the one off your vacuum petcock.
I never had much trouble forgetting to close the valve - one time a fuel line started leaking and someone closed the valve and then let me know. Maybe three times I forgot to open the valve, and emptied the float bowl like 300 yards up the road.

Right. Just a brush to see if it goes up.

I am pretty sure everything is connected. But I will look closely again. What is the resistance supposed to be on each coil - yellow to ? Obviously the white has power - or my headlight relay wouldn't energize.

I will try and do that tonight - supposed to be raining, unfortunately.

I am using the 11-pole stator, mag and regulator I got from you.
Scooter #1 is the Xingyue ITA150 with 16" wheels, Ecotrons EFI, 1" header, HID headlight and the 11-pole setup.
Scooter #2 is the Znen 150T-F (I think) - repaired engine case (brazed aluminum) after the OEM exhaust broke and took out the ear with it: new 1" header, NCY variator and 12gram sliders. It came with the 12-pole set up originally.

The stator is connected directly to the regulator with the wires it. Thee additional connections -such as to the battery + and ground are 14 or even 12. My red wire doesnt seem to have any marking. but it is larger than the green 14.
Ground the regulator side of the black, I assume? I won't get to it tonight.
Did you see the stator + regulator upgrade harness on bugglydepot? Not cheap but I wonder if it would have helped in my case. Original regulator was up front. Now the upgrade regulator is out back in the air.
(Since my Znen has a 12pole, I wont need to do another upgrade. Unless I get another scooter...)

I have checked with the headlight 100% disconnected, there is no difference. The white wire is pulling up a relay for the headlight.
I checked again. Black disconnected = no change, 13.1-13.3 at raised RPM. Disconnected the white = no headlight = no change. LEDs for all other lights except the instrument panel.

When I pulled the black wire last time - a few weeks ago - the voltage did not change, on the DVM or my dash gauge. But I will have another try.
Per the Ecotrons install manual: Note: the kit needs 12V charging system for power supply. The charging requirement is 3.5A current or 50W power as the minimum.

The bulb actually moves for the high/low change. I didnt have it keyed to the top. Looks better now.

I put in a Bi-xenon HID - which even with the claim to replace a B20D, it did not. It came with adapters but none fit the Xinguyue headlight socket area.
I ended up using zip ties to keep it in place.
I've run 10 minutes stationary, with the headlight on, and while the lens did get warm, it was never hot enough to burn or melt. I did not add vent holes like some people do for an H4 upgrade. I didn't add holes when I put in the 45/45 H4 either. The housing is stock besides rim holes to pass the zip ties through.
I did swap the indicated high/low leads because the focus seems to work better reversed. Low beam shined high on street signs, high beam was shining low.
I haven't ridden in the dark yet, but it seems to have a ton of light.
I am not getting a high output (only 13.1V at a cruising RPM) from the stator upgrade yet, not sure why. I've checked with the headlight disconnected, there is no difference.

I adjusted the contrast and saturation of his image and the header has a tab on it just before the muffler. Still, the can is heavy and should have some support.
