The WI law says something like count to 45, or 45 seconds... I can count to 45 pretty fast. How fast is a cop counting? I do not have a clock, never mind with a second hand on my scooter, and IF I were wearing a watch, it wont be easy to view under my gear. I have two likes on my ride home that I cannot trip. Both roads have been resurfaced, but I know the loops are in there. If I get a car behind me I do scoot up. Talk about mixed feelings: If he does move up *cheers* I get a green arrow, but do I have someone behind me who will ride my butt? Or if he doesn't move up, why the heck cant he see I was making the space so he also gets the green?
One other left I have has no green arrow, but if it is foggy, the light never seems to change no matter two wheels or four, however if I pull up with no oncoming traffic, I flash my high beam just once, and the light seems to change quickly. Not a bad light.
So far I have been skittish to run a red (forward or left) even if I felt I was in the right and there was plenty of clear road, so instead I take a right and make a U-banger at the next opportunity and get back to my original path.

battery after a night if trickle charge = 13.2VDC, after the fuel pump has shut off, not running, so no lights are on. Rode for about 20 minutes At higher RPM it stayed up at 13.4VDC, but at idle, it drops to 12.1VDC. Now at rest, the batter is at 12.7VDC after the fuel pump has shut off.

On the trickle charger, when I rolled the scoot back into the garage, the volt meter showed 12.9 - with the fuel pump running. I will recheck all the measurements tonight.

Just by my add-on volt meter, I was getting 14.7 at any moving speed with my original 8-pole. I never put a meter on it to see what it was doing when it was working. Still having issues with my 11-pole upgrade, but I'll get that worked out.

measured at the red wire from the regulator, 5.6VDC at idle, 7.04VDC rev'ed up
I've ran it long enough on measuring that the battery is down to 11VDC. Gotta throw the charger on it for a bit.

I did make a dent in the side of the can so it isn't up against the swing arm and axle. I did not drill any holes, or even make bends. One spacer - the bottom rear is made of multiple nuts and a long full thread bolt or threaded rod will work - slightly smaller than the existing hole if you cant find the long metric hardware. The top hanger is a U-bolt plate - they sell separately at Menards and other hardware stores. A couple larger nuts, a stack of washers for a spacer or a short pipe nipple to make the mount more solid. That one used the original bolt for that location.
It installed much easier than I expected. I got a handfull of bits and used very few. I cut three spacers like the upper mount, but used only the one.

For sure. I just got two more of the clones for like 76 shipped, but have yet to set up any to take for test rides. Got to watch those sneaky ebay sellers who want arm, leg and a testicle for shipping.

shipping is too high. I got a couple online - they go on sale on Amazon or dailysteals or 1saleaday. They've been on sale at Big Lots for $40. There is also a Polaroid clone, and another I've forgotten the brand.

the HID is rated @35w, vs the 45/45 halogen I was running, with 14.7V at anything above idle. Recall, the output of the original 8-pole system was down a bit when I only replaced the exhaust. I caught it in the new exhaust video. That was before I even started the EFI conversion.

I can check that tomorrow. I put it all back and still get the same 13-ish at medium revs.
