Thanks John
The new regulator arrived today. Couple minutes to install. At idle it was already 12.4V, and anything above idle was 13.7VDCFor sure better, Even coming down off a rev, it stays at 13.4V until it has idled for several seconds.

We have had a lot of repaving in the area, and you can no longer see the loops. And now all of the lines - the stop line, the cross walks, the left and right turn , lane dividers solid or dashed, every one on the pavement is inlaid.
Wouldn't that be helpful if they would mark the sweet spot for bikes and cycles.

It should start only when you have either brake operated. But you say it only runs with the brake loop closed?
side stand - is your side stand up? Seems most DONT, but they should have a safety switch to prevent the motor from running when the side stand is down.

Thanks I don't need the o-ring gasket, my flat flange gaskets are working. If I buy any it will be the flat flange gaskets.

Thats a nice high mileage scoot!
Gaskets, Rings, hone the bore, at least lap the valves if not replace them, and new valve stem seals. Verify the valve guides aren't out of spec.

This is the one I put on my Znen - a tad loud, could use some sort of packing maybe. Bolted right on. Came with no gasket or mounts besides the can strap. www.ebay.com/itm/181160168201Same seller has gaskets and stuff. But I fab what I need. IF I were in a huge emergency hurry, I'd try something more local, rather than paying an arm and leg for shipping. Maybe someone knows something in your area, wherever that may be. Many aftermarket exhaust systems will work on many different scooters, HOWEVER, even with universal hangers and stuff, mods may be required to get the can secured properly. Do not ride with the muffler in the air, or you will break the studs at the head.

I do not like the price for overnight shipping for anything. I wanted to buy the MRP exhaust for my ITA150, but the shipping from any dealer who listed it wanted at least $35 for normal shipping. Forget about any sort of rush. I ordered an exhaust from Puerto Rico with free shipping and had it in maybe 4 days. Ordered another for scooter #2 and had that one in less than a week.

Waiting at a light for nothing is annoying. One on ramp here, at about 9PM, light freeway traffic, I'm in a Jeep Cherokee, at least three times I was stuck by a metered light. One time for example: Two lanes, no other traffic on the ramp, I pull up at one and wait. More than a minute goes by, no change, another vehicle pulls up to the adjacent lane and gets an immediate green. ? I wait. I know I am on camera. Another car pulls into the adjacent lane and gets a green. Not me? I back up and move over. Does the light change? nope. Third car comes down the ramp behind me and takes my former lane, and guess what?? Go on, guess! He gets the green. I've been here for over 6 minutes already. I finally flip off the camera and drive on. Never got a ticket or anything, but I'd take it to court.
Another ramp in Milwaukee, in a 2+ ton full sized Dodge van. A little rain, medium 4PM pre-rush hour traffic, I pull onto an entry ramp, metered, two lanes. My light does not change. Traffic stacks up behind me. All vehicles who choose the other lane get instant green. Cars and trucks behind me start moving over to the other lane and also green after green after green. But never my lane. Finally I just go, it has been several minutes already. As I crest the hill, I can see in my mirrors, the next car is still waiting at that light. I am probably already 1/2 a mile away.
I have a copy of the WI statute for motorcycles and bikes someplace, I should have a copy in each vehicle. I have read that supposedly that statute applies to any vehicle if the light is not changing in a reasonable amount of time. Sitting at a red for 2 or three minutes with cross traffic coming at about 40 seconds, you wonder if a cop will screw you or give you the benefit of doubt. When it is 5AM and very little traffic, why aren't more lights treated as stop signs, or yeild signs? I made a right to make a u-turn to get back to my planned direction of travel and there was a cop in a driveway. Would he have nailed me for going? Was he sleeping? He probably could have ticketed me for a u-turn. (Until recently, while many intersections did have NO U-turn signs, the general rule was no u-turns were allowed in WI. A coworker has a ticket to that effect. Now main drags like in Brookfield have more left turn lanes, where you can or have to make make a u-turn in order to get to where you are going. Or when you leave a place, you cannot turn left, you must turn right and make a U-turn in order to get the required direction. Nearly all NO U-turn signs are gone. Just a few left in bad intersections.

Rode to work, 6.24 miles, 53.69mph top speed recorded, 13.4VDC on the display. 12.1VDC at idle (headlight and fuel pump running). I think it was 12.9VDC when I rechecked the static voltage after I shut the motor off.

Giving the battery an overnight charge, riding it to work tomorrow. I've been keeping the rides close and fairly short. After my 20 minute ride this afternoon, the voltage regulator was stone cold.

My fall was also under braking, even gently as I was, the road had a touch of fresh rain, and it is a greasy intersection right by a semi-truck repair shop. I wasn't quite to the point of turning, but the scooter was out from under me in a blink, and we both slid. Small scratches to the scooter, and a rubbed hole in one jacket sleeve. No marks on my backpack or helmet. Oh and I had a wet . But I made it to work on time. More importantly, the pick up truck behind me did not run me over, he pulled up and stopped behind and then pulled over when I jumped up to get me and the scooter out of the road.
