The guy from Maine (mainpeace) was doing Ecotrons EFI on his 50cc scooter. I cant get to his thread on the old scootdawg site. I have Ecotrons on my 150. On important item is that your charging system is up to it. The fuel pump is something like 3.5amps. ecotrons.com/Small_Engine_EFI_PNP_kit.html

0.9Mohms isn't infinite or open. I'll try to remember to check - I have two 4pin regulators. I do not know the values on either one. I see crashguy measured 38VAC on the yellow fire from the stator. What is the value of the red wire from the regulator - can you measure with it disconnected from the battery?
I have to check my charging system a little more. I am up to 13.7VDC, but probably could be even another volt higher. tvnacman has a lot of charging system knowledge.

Ive got an HID installed. The kit was supposed to replace BA20D, H4 and something else. It is for a DC circuit, so I use the white AC lead to energize a relay for an added DC circuit. I still haven't taken a picture. My headlight housing has a lot of airspace. Even when I did ten minutes of data logging on the center stand, the front of the lens never got too hot to touch. I know it is wickedly brighter than the 18/18 BA20D that was originally in there, and it sure looks like it beats the H4 (45/45) I had rigged up (The H4 had a bad shadow problem due to the aluminized black tip). I said this kit was SUPPOSED to replace the BA20D... but none of the adapters would mate with the housing like the original. So zip-ties it is. This is the kit, but when I click on it, I don't see any pictures, maybe because I am at work... www.ebay.com/itm/HID-KIT-Motorcycle-bi-xenon-head-light-hi-lo-dual-sport-h4-ba20d-h6m-ktm-yamaha/321165965831Even less cost, this one does have images in the body www.ebay.com/itm/12V-Auto-Car-Dual-HI-LO-BEAM-HID-Conversion-Kit-H4-BA20d-6000K-Xenon-Bulb-lamp-/171096513571

In the van with the AC on full last and the radio at a reasonable level, I can hear medium and louder exhausts in every direction. Just like my GF can hear her kid(s) whisper 'mom' in the basement behind closed doors. I don't hear it, but I may be ignoring them!

Looks like $11 for shipping from scooterworks = $51. However, if I order ANOTHER $60.01 worth, I get free shipping. Order $100 and get free ship....

We had rain off and on Sunday so I didn't get anything done outside. Raining this morning, so no scooter ride to work. Maybe this evening...

I've repaired three using 16mm watch crystals and RTV Black. The fourth one is the only original one left, and it is still clear. The other three were white and opaque when they failed.
