I live in apartment complex and my scoot is kept under a carport with 10 parking spaces. I have 2 Brinks cable locks (one through each wheel and around one of the 8" x 8" vertical posts supporting the roof as well s a disc brake caliper lock on the front wheel. If they try to cut down the post the roof should wake up all the neighbors when it lands on 10 cars, one moped and 2 scoots. *LOL* The ultimate security when parked at home is my insurance policy.

Alleyoop,
That is a great tutorial on all the workings of a scooter's CVT. Thanks for posting it.

You might ask if they can special order what you need. My local Fastenal store has ordered special bolts, nuts, etc. for me. Usually takes 3 or 4 days. Good luck!

You might try Fastenal at: www.fastenal.com/web/home. I have found them to be a great source for stainless metric hardware for my diesel auxiliary engine in my sailboat. They have 2,600-plus Fastenal stores nation-wide.

spandi, Funny you should mention the HF impact wrench, I just ordered one yesterday. I already have a cig lighter socket that I installed for my Battery Tender, so its just a matter of plugging the wrench into the socket.
