If you use the old seal to replace the one behind the Variator. Just make sure it has the spring in it, and if you get the decompression kits its helps. Decompression kit?

Thanks everyone! I think this is just another case of my bad luck and the seal went out on its own. The rings were carefully installed and everything was done right, the cylinder was dirt cheap to begin with so re-using it was probably a bad idea, but is unrelated to this problem.. I have replacements on the way. I noticed when the oil is full it comes out the most, and when the dipstick reads mid-low readings it leaks less. That would make sense. Less oil=less oil pressure.

Cool, easy as pie just try not to scratch the case where the rubber seal sits in when picking it out. Then slip the new seal in and your done. Alleyoop Thank god! I know this is a dumb question because I already know the answer is no its going to leak, but can I take the one off my other bike and put it on this one?

Don't you think something like that should be posted on the home page in big bold red letters so its easily found and read. Not everyone uses facebook or even knew that news like that is only available via facebook. Nothing on the site says see our facebook page for news and updates. Even a phone recording would work. That way we know its safe to still buy from you. Some company's randomly go out of business without notice and will still have the website open and collecting money. A month is a long time Yes, Facebook is posted on our home page with the title "get updates and holiday closures, etc" It also comes up on the first google search page. Facebook is pretty common for live updates with companies as it's so convenient and easy to change and follow, whereas changing the website is involved, so it usually lags behind. Shelly should have left a holiday recording on the phones like she does every year when we close this time. I'll ask her tomorrow, and be sure and say something if you call too. We've been in business for 5 years now, which is a long time for chinese scooter parts. I think there were very few companies around then, like PFS and MRP. Anyways, we have a very stable corporate structure with no debt and several other support companies, so we're not the normal fly by night, here today, gone tomorrow type of garage company you see online and Ebay especially who take your money, then close down and pop back up somewhere else under a different name. Thanks for the suggestions, and especially catching the wrong date. Sorry! Happy new year. Back to work now.... From a customers point of view is wasn't easy finding out that the phones where closed due of the holidays, granite its to be expected because its is the holidays. An old fashion recording would have done it, but you guys are human too and mistakes happen. Honestly I don't ever see you guys going out of business simply because you literally have every part needed and the knowledge to back it up, Congratulations on your success. Happy new new year to you too!

Its just the variator side. So what do I just remove the variator and pick out the old one and stick in a new one the same way I removed the old one?

Its a 1p39qmb. Also, what causes them to go bad. I know excessive pressure, but besides that. I have an abused old 2007 engine with no problems and a 2012 bike with blown oil seals. I'm talkin half a talk of oil gone a day. Its soo much oil it ruined my cvt to the point where its slipping or seizing, nothing inbetween. Valve vent is functioning alright so i'm ruling out pressure. This all started after I installed new piston rings and an A9 Cam The leak was major but tolerable, now its like I miles well have a 2 stroke. It uses more oil than gas If I have to split the crank case i'm tapping out.

Your going to have to replace it or create new threads on it and find a matching bolt.

I hate to sound dumb, but I have no clue where or how to change the parts. Found them, but its like once I get them now what. Can I use stop leak to temp fix or slow the leak?
