Klingons, although Michael Ansara doesn't really look like a Klingon in that pic.

This one's really tough. I adored Michael Ansara as Commander Kang. He was one of the first incidental character's actor I wrote down.
But I loved the Gorn too. Loved how ingenious he was despite being a reptile so seemingly slow and not smart. Plus I love and collect alligators, that probably had a say.
I'm abstaining this week.

Gotta go with the Klingon... at least good old Michael Ansara. I've always been a fan of him.
I'll always think of him as "Cochise" from the TV series "Broken Arrow". And as "Mr. Genie" as he was married in real life to Barbara Eden. I worked briefly with her in a PR campaign for Chrysler/Plymouth "back in the day". She was THE nicest, sweetest and most humble famous personality I ever encountered. The Klingon should have hung onto her... what a peach!
The thing I remember most about Michael was his disappointment at so often being "type cast" as a native American Indian. He really was an excellent actor, and said he got tired of "looking noble" arms folded and pointing with his chin in stereotype Native American movie fashion... Can't say I blame him. He is of Arab lineage (and a BIG fellow) but dang! He just played American Indian parts SO doggone well!
I guess I'm dating myself just a little... LOL!
Live long and prosper...

I didn't know he was married to Barbara Eden. That's neat you worked with them.
I believe I caught him in an ep of Lone Ranger too. Then again, I also caught a familiar actor as the son of the murdered ranch owner--just couldn't place him though. I'd decided he must've be one of those prevalent 2nd-tier actors, always costarring never headlining. Until the credits--he was a VERY VERY young DeForrest Kelley!
Man, those ST actors sure got around back in the day.
>'Kat, just zoomed in on MA--mmm, he was one handsome man!

Speaking of Macho, the new "Magnificent 7" flick starts this weekend with Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawk. We will see how they compare to the original cast that included heavy hitters like Bronson, McQueen and Yul Brenner.

We were in the next-to-last row of seats. All the action was happening on the left side of the stage. Then my head--and everyone else's--whipped to the right. Yul Brenner had stepped on stage. Didn't say anything yet, didn't do anything yet, just stepped out on stage. Man had that much charisma, it just smacked you even in the last row. >'Kat

Yul Brenner was definitely a "once in ever" actor, 'Kat. God rest his soul, even if he did play the part of Pharaoh Ramses.
My wife met Barbara Eden once at a conference about 8 years ago, Leo. She is still a bundle of energy, though she is only one year younger than my dad. I still dream of Jeannie.
