I got a call from the shop, they said the carburetor is busted and had to replace it, it was a cheap fix, but I don't believe the whole carburetor is wrong, maybe it just needed adjustment and they couldn't bother to take the time to fix it, easier and faster to put a brand new one than adjusting the old one. lol, actually easier to adjust but proly more money in charging for new. just j/k i have no idea what was wrong with your scoot, you back riding now?

I think we will never know what was wrong with my scoot, I just have their "not so credible" story, I have to pick it up tomorrow

At least I learned what a bad diaphragm feels like, I hate taking my car or scoot to a shop, a honest mechanic is something rare, almost extinct

Just as I expected, they put a crappy carb on my scoot, it drives terrible, now I have to go and have a argument with the shop owner to get my old carb back (if they didn't put the thing on another bike already, of course) damn I hate mechanics!!, I have yet to find an honest and/or competent one, if my scoot wasn't my main mean of transportation right now, I wouldn't have taken the thing to a shop, I would rather do it myself, but at least it is on the road and I'm able to go to work and do errands, driving terrible but driving after all, I took advantage of the situation and ordered a "CVK performance carburetor kit" from Scrappy's, now I just have to wait a couple of weeks until it arrives, I hope this crappy carb can make it till then

In some states, shops are required by law to give you the old part, but only if you ask for it.
