Doug,
Many thanks for the kudos! I think I'm finding my "niche"... LOL! I just was thinking about the past years since I got interested in scooters. Let's see... I've done the original ScootDawg banner, the first ScooterRebels, ScooterProfessor, a couple I can't remember since doing a face-plant into a curb last year... and numerous Holiday special banners. You might guess that I was the guy who got elected to draw all the hot cars and bikes on the guys' high-school notebooks, jackets, etc. HeHeHe... I got so handy at "Rat-Finks" that I got the nickname "Big Daddy". That was back in 1960, and it's stuck until this very day!
In the scooter world, I guess I'm always gonna be "OldChopperGuy" and in business, it's still "Big Daddy".
Great new website for sure!

Its is nice of course it would be simply amazing if it was a say a Silver Burgman with a rider in oh I don't know... say a Hi-Viz Green Jacket and silver helmet... Yes that would have been perfect...
Seriously good job

Seriously good job Hey, THANKS!When Doug and I discussed the design, he wanted to go with a larger, 250 or so scooter. I got out the ol' pen and paper, and sorta "made one up" as a generic ride to avoid making it a recognizeable brand. Love those Burgmans for sure, and the red was just a color that fit the graphic... Glad you like it anyway!Above, you can see it in blue... I just HAD to diddle one up for Terrilee... She has one of the ONLY 150's around that will go like a 250... and she loves blue scoots...Sincerely, Leo PS: I've always sorta been a sucker for those big Hondas, too!

Yes it is a perfect scoot I have been trying to figure out what it was it may be subconsciously Honda inspired but it isn't a Honda. Really though it is well done. One thing and this isn't your fault it would be nice if it took me to the main page when I clicked on it.

THANKS BUD, talk to you more over dere in the next month Terrilee,Your most welcome! And the scoot? I know... She's BAD and DRAWN THAT WAY! Incredible coincidence... I'm actually WATCHING "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" as I write this... OOOHH, that JESSICA!I already had the scooter drawing handy in the old hard drive, so it was no problem to put her in blue, in the wind, on that open road... Now you have an original "Leo" graphic for your monitor wallpaper... Ride safe! Leo

Hank,
That Aprilla is major-league HOT! 76 ponies... VERY neat for sure. It really sorta blurrs the line between scooters and motorcycles. Mighty NICE, BUT I'll bet the farm it's mighty PRICEY, too! LOL! I think Honda has one similar too. But they market it as a motorcycle with CVT tranny. Having ridden big bikes all my life, the thing I actually like best (aside from the price...) of the smaller scooters, is the step-through frame and flat floor. As an old biker, that feature is totally novel to me, and I find it GREAT for these old arthritic bonz...
I realize all the REALLY neat scoots with big motors (and even many high-end 50's like yours) have at least some kind of backbone between your feet. I think THAT is probably absolutely necessary for best handling. We get used to the inherent wobble with the girly step-through frames... But I am spoiled by the flat floor... Just something unique to me, that I like in spite of its wobbly nature...
I do indeed love the adventurous nature of these mega-scooters, but so far I'm stuck on the little step-throughs... If a high-speed wobble ever puts me on my face at 60, I'll probably change my mind... HeHeHe... So far, a nasty squeeze on the front brake has stopped that kind of nonsense. I got used to dealing with the phenomenon back in the '70's when Harley quit putting road-dampers on the Electra-Glide... LOL! One day I may "Mickey Mouse" a Japanese car hatchback strut into a fork-damper on "Lil' Bubba".
Still and all, that Aprilla is wild... Like a good lasagne, now THAT'S Italian!
Many thanks,
Leo
