Sounds like i should get a new carb anyway, if i mess it up i don't want to be without a scooter until a new carb comes in the mail.
i do want to get it open though, at least to see what jetting it has, i hear they make these scoots a bit lean from the factory, so if this is correct then get the next size up.
are there any surprises inside the carb like pressed in jets?
