70-80 mph....? Stroker crank, bbk, performance head, different final gears, along with pretty much everything else.

You will never see 70-80mph on a 150cc... they run out of steam at 55mph.
Just because some people can get to a Chinometer 65mph downhill with back-wind, doesn't mean the scooter has any usable power left at that speed.

Do you want better take-off or better top speed? You can't have both, and they are actually a trade-off.
A bigger carb isn't going to do squat unless you install a BBK.

Like mentioned you can have take off or top end unless you spent a fortune or buy a better scooter . First weight your rollers to see what you have . You can use stiffer clutch springs to take off faster with higher RPMs . A 150 often does not have a rev limited CDI . A Uni with stock head and exhaust may only bottle neck the flow .

My Echarm would hit 65 when new and 70 after break in . I replaced the 12g rollers with 12g Dr Pulley sliders and it went to 75 . I am sure it would hit 80 with heavier sliders . Unlike most mine 150 is liquid cooled , tall 16 inch wheels and Ducatti EFI . I got a warning ticket for going 72 MPH on an interstate by a HP who was curious what kind of " moped " ( his word ) went that fast . Note the CFMoto 150cc puts out 12.2 HP where the standard GY6 is 8 to 9 HP .

Now you can go bonkers with a high compression BBK and stroker crank from our buddy Walter at Scooterelements like the 232 Taidia kit . I had a TaoTao man it was a as I was used to Honda , Suzuki and Europeans . You may get some more out of it but it may not hold up unless you replace the engine and CVT with premium parts .

Those real screamers down in PR are not streetable and run on nitro not pump gas . YEs you can get more out of it with lil money or go all in but it may not last as long if you ride it above its limits as it will never run like a crotch rocket .

Lambretta had the world record of 75 MPH on a 150cc for 30 years or so BTW

Lol thanks guys for all your comments very much appreciated .. last night I ordered 12g sliders a Orange performance cdi no limt rev .. and a blue air filter .. and a 4 piece blue neon light kit ..... wonder what thats gone do not looking to be the fastest just wana zip around detroit side streets .. I know I got to choose between top end and liw I want a little of both thats why I brought 12g sliders and going to mix with 10 g sliders down the road .. I just want litle more out her not the world 60 -70 mph ill be happy already was doing 60 all stock ...

You CAN get quite an impressive amount more acceleration out of any scooter if you install all the goodies short of internal engine work...
I have a 50 yard stretch of decent uphill grade pulling out of my neighborhood... using the street at the top of the hill as a marker, my 150 gained about 15mph on that stretch from stock with 'bolt-on' mods (and tuning), but never got anymore top speed. I didn't want it anyway. NO 150cc should be on a 55mph+ highway, I don't care what it is or how it's modded. Just because you're brave enough to do it, doesn't make it a good idea! 150's are well out of steam by then - struggling to keep up with 60mph traffic is NOT FUN!!!
My 150 could pull away from traffic on 45mph roads (not just slowpokes) - that and spunky acceleration are the only goals a 150 should have. If you want to hit the highway and want to play around at 55-65mph, get a 250cc.
