Not a problem if someone does not know, that is how people learn from ones that do know and ask questions. We all learn something everyday there is not one person that knows everything. Here is the PIN OUT ON THE CDI: Alleyoop

This is progressing , I bet if you cut the pulse wire at the cdi plug then spliced a nee wire from the pulse coil to the cfi it will make the problem go away .

If he cuts that wire and it is getting voltage from something else that would mean something is not right and you have a live wire doing nothing. Best and the right way is trace the trigger wire back from the CDI to see where that wire is plugged into or if it is bare and making contact with something else. Alleyoop

Thanks guys for all your help. especially you that said wiring. Never overlook the obvious. Found the trigger wire shorted to the white wire that goes to regulator rectifier. purrs like a kitten. Them Chinese sure know how to use electrical tape.
