Bolts came in today from Pro-Bolt and they're really nice - shiny stainless. Turns out the old bolts did not just come out -they were sheared off. I remember one guy saying that the metal we're all dealing with is something soft called "chinesium," so hopefully the stainless will hold up. Luckily there was a bit of the old bolt sticking out the back side of the hole so I could turn the stub out of the hole with a pair of pliers and did not have to drill anything out.
So the plug is back in snugly, the bolts are replaced, and I'm ready to go. With any luck that's that. Until next time dawgs!!
