THAT will be a NEAT ride!
Reminds me of when I was young enough to tackle such ambitious builds!
Please DO post pix as you progress!
Best wishes on the build!

PS: That free-shipping MAKES the deal! It may cost more to ship than you paid for it! NICE GOING!

Darn flywheel will not budge off the crankshaft. I tore up my puller tool in the process.

I received the Helix frame today. I also removed the Reflex engine. I'll need to modify the frame a bit to make the horizontal Reflex engine fit. I envision a cylindrical gas tank down low in the frame with a solo seat above the engine. I'll clean up the frame hiding the wires as much as possible. If the seating position suits them, I'll probably use some drag bars on the Reflex triple-tree and fork. I don't like the trailing link style Helix fork.

You are supposed to thread the outside part on to the flywheel and thread the middle bolt so it can push on the crankshaft. As I took another look today, it appears that the flywheel may be threaded onto the crankshaft. That would explain why I couldn't pull it off.

I've never heard of one of these pullers, breaking and I've been known to use an impact with mine... That thing must really be on there. Thought maybe you broke a jaw type puller...

leading link is not a bad suspension set up... it's just ugly as heck and there is usually a lot of spring noise. Leading link set ups are very good at controlling nose dive under hard braking though.

Today I decided to reassemble the Znen engine leaving the flywheel alone. I epoxied the damaged part of the case. I just hope it holds. Now I an simply install this engine into the Helix frame without having to modify it.

I gave up on the flywheel removal. So instead of replace the center/right case, I repaired the mounting ear with JB Weld. Here, the Helix frame with the Znen engine mounted. I found it interesting that many of the engine parts are marked "CF Moto". I used the Znen engine hanger with a shortened hanger bolt from my Honda Reflex. Next up I'll see if the Reflex fork fits the Helix frame.
