Prodigit was obviously referring to non magnetic metals. But the magnets in the threaded plugs are on the very tip, and as the casing is Aluminum should work quite well. (you may also wish to consider a "mix-and-match set of the Prima, (if available) and one of the "Super Magnet" plugs on ebay.)

Just as long as your engine case is aluminum it will work fine, but when your case is metal, you might actually magnetize the case, and then the flakes will remain in the engine compartment, which could be very bad! The last time I checked Aluminum WAS a metal, and the GY6 casing Aluminum. Duh! I meant to say steel, not metal. If the case is steel, or an iron based metal, the case magnetizes. If it's aluminum, then there's no problem.

I ended up getting a magnetic plug off of eBay for $10. M12x1.5 Works great... www.ebay.com/itm/310389941458New one on the left, OE on the right. I changed the oil in the scoot before the first startup and installed the magnetic plug at that time. Here it is after 127km with the magnetic plug
