Have an Icebear 150cc. I have adjusted the chain a couple times... cant seem to get the left side exactly equal with the right after loosening all bolts and using the four adjusters. The right wheel is back a couple millimeters. I just spent an hour fumbling with the thing. The reason I attempted adjustment again is that the trike rear (seems like left side) shudders when it is cold and I take off. When warm, little or no shudder. Anyone have any ideas?
Also, I want to change fluids; engine & tranny. I think there were pics of the engine and a how-to as I can't see any drain or fill for the tranny and only a drain for the engine. Thanks in advance.

I am working one another guy on ScooterDoc forum with the same problem. I will respond with the same as I told him. Alleyoop So a little info would help What Year and Model Trike do you have it is most likely just like mine they haven't really changed anything on except the body and how they look. 1. The fill hole for the tranny is BEHIND the FRONT SPROCKET(NICE HUH). But do not bother to much work taking off the sprocket to get at the fill hole. Use the TRANNY VENT HOSE to fill it. ;D Also the Differential needs to be grease so get a small grease gun and small grease tubes they usually come in a package of 3s. Get the ones with the highest rated temps anything over 200 will do. Reason is the differential gears get hot and a low rated grease starts to turn to liquid and sips out and flings it all over the underneath. I put in grease until it stops taking it. 2. The Jumping and or Shuddering: a. Do you have a REVERSE on that Trike? If so it needs to be adjusted it is NOT engaging fully in the FORWARD position. What needs to be done is GIVE the adjustment SOME SLACK. If you could take a picture of the REVERSE setup on yours I can tell you what to do. b. The other thing it could be is one of your axles has moved out a little and the HUB that holds the wheel is slipping on the SPLINES on the AXLE. To check just grab the Castle Nut the nut with the cotter pin in it and try to turn it back and forth. If it moves the axle has moved out a little. Fix that right away otherwise the HUB SPLINES will get worn down really quick and you will need new HUBS. To fix that you need to take the Castle Nut off and add a washer not to thick because then the Castle Nut Slots will not line up with the hole in the AXLE to insert the Cotter Pin. The Cotter pins can be gotten at any Hardware Store they have all kind of sizes so if you need some take one off and take it with you to match the size. Also What I did is jack up the side and take the castle nut off and give the axle a nice little wack with a heavy hammer Not to hard just enough to push it back in and have the other end of the axle slots engage good into the Key Built into the Gears Sleeve inside the differential. As far as centering the rear to the front, I measure from each end of the axle inside the wheel to the cross member bar on the front part of the frame. 1/8 off is not going to make a difference it will settle in. But loosen the bolts and adjust your chain to have 3/4 up movement from the bottom center of the chain and line it up I use a straight edge from sprocket to sprocket. The I tighten the outside bolts first then the center ones then last bring in the adjuster nuts to hold it there. Alleyoop
