OK...
The Old Chopper Guy found a few "choice examples" of ah, er, "unusual" styling from years-gone-by for your perusal. Agreed, ugly truly IS in the eye of the beholder, and some art-deco scoots are sorta cool... but check out the red and yellow "jet-age" ride on the top-right of the pix... EEEWWWW... Can we agree about THAT one as being truly something we'd rather NOT be seen riding (except maybe at a George Jetson meets Captain Video reunion)?Enjoy! Leo (lookin' fer ugly) in Texas green shot

My first thought seeing the photos before reading your post was, "Oh, that jet one is CUTE!" Not that I'd want to be driving it places. But it sure would be fun going to the right place. Like the Commemorative air show. Or the sci-fi convention. Makes me go SQUEE! >'Kat

You never know WHAT you'll find on the net... LOL!
That "jet" scooter was probably inspired in the fifties by the F-86 Sabre fighter... I think I like the plane a lot better! That red and cream one (bottom right) appears to be based on a Harley big-twin, judging by the exhausts. Mighty BIG step-through scooter!
Heck, anything on 2 wheels is always fun at SOME level...
Gotta luv 'em all,
Leo

I think I have read about that one on the bottom right, I believe it was a total custom build. Love em all!

You have to forgive me, I have too many thumbs and when I am on the phone they hit the wrong keys. At least when I am on the desktop, Firefox has a spell checker that helps me out. omg, i googled "freat"; the urban dictionary - A word that shortens the phrase "freaking sweet". seriously thought you meant to type freat... freaking sweet made sense in that sentence, lol. Yeah, I kind of feel like anybody that likes a Vespa or a Buddy ought to love those.

Oh and I do like those, especially the one that looks like a 1950's buick.
