Unfortunately tire dressings migrate as tires are in fact pourous. On a motorcycle tire as the tread is not flat the dressing will migrate more quickly to the treads and while that may not be very noticable on dry roads you really do not want to find out how it reacts while going over a wet railroad crossing or while traversing a metal grated bridge. We have one of those Swing bridges in New bedford mass. It's well over 100 yrs old. The mid section has a metal grate roadway. I crossed that bridge on my scooter one time and one time only. NEVER AGAIN! They have cobblestone roads in the historic district too. I stay away from those ;Dand I use nothing but soap and water on my tires. I had to smile when I read you comment. I took the Chesapeake bay bridge on my scoot (also a grate) about 5 miles long and 18 stories up at it's highest point, you'd look down and see the the waves, whitecaps, and salt spray!

Is that the one with a tunnel too?

Yep. When I ran the bay bridge the front wheel zig-zaged the whole time!....and I had to make the return trip the same way!

I don't remember a tunnel, just seeing a nearly 5 mile long bridge over water is scary enough, when you get to the center all you see around you is water. (they even have a service to tow people off the bridge who have panicked and can't finish the crossing.) DOUBLE SCARY on a scoot!
