SpeedOmeter,
I've just been messing with my own variator, and am about to change from rollers to sliders myself. They show definite advantages over rollers. From my experience, 14-grams would be a little too heavy for me, but I weigh 235. My gut feeling is that at your weight, of 130, you might just be "on the money"!
I wouldn't be surprised if you get nice, low-rpm cruising, and still have good acceleration AND great top speed.
Hope I'm right!
Ride safe!

Im still a little confused about the rollers or sliders..
Im still a litte confused about the heaver ones does it sling it out faster or slower Im needing to have it go out further and slower so I can build up a little rpms then shift I believe it has 7grm ones in it now, I would like to raise the rpms up some before it shifts
Let me know if this is the weigh it goes or not dont want to spend to much on just replace test then replace again
Please help me if you can

Devo Grapevine is a northern suburb of Dallas. Yup!Grapevine is at the north end of D/FW Airport (Irving is at the south end)... It's a BIG airport! LOL! I live LITERALLY at the west end of the most east/west runway. Leo (SO glad that modern planes no longer use flush-out-the-bottom toilets...) in Texas

Got 14g sliders in with red springs clutch spring. Rides amazing. Installing performance exhaust 2m. Now am I going to have to re-jet carb?

Got all my work done for now & must say I'm pleased with these results. With springs & sliders exhaust it's like a whole new bike. Next step is paint & body mod.

It takes more energy to throw out heavier rollers or sliders so its slower, yielding slower acceleration.

Actually it's great all around. Take off is quick & I can cruise with traffic and what I was mostly lookin 4 was the acceleration in the mid area. Before it really wasn't there but now it's very responsive. Got a bit of backfiring going on since the exhaust install but I'm lovin it.

Ok, since this falls into what work I've done so far I fig I'd just keep it under this post. So now the goods or bads?
Yesterday I was riding & with new exhaust on its a bit louder but I noticed when I took off real slow there was this sorta grinding catching feeling coming from the rear but only @ very slow speed. Then it goes away & don't hear or feel it on the dwn shift. Gunna take it apart 2m. It runs fine tho just this feel & noise. Anyone experience this?
