i zoomed in on the pic alleyoop posted so you could see it better. i'm new to carbs also but from what i can see you should have a T joint pipe to connect to the hose going to the intake manifold.  i guess that is what they are called (T joint pipe  ).  |

wow no i really feel stupid. I took that T connection off as soon as i compared it to stock carb because it didnt have that  |
