There are 2 things that crossed my mind. If you have the Airsal kit, it is aluminum. Remember that Aluminum is more prone to warping if it is overheated, which a lean condition can do.
Also, you say it's fine for about 60s. I wonder if you are not getting enough fuel into the bowl of your carb. Are you sure your fuel filter is not clogged or if directional, is the right way. Make sure that your fuel flow is good as well as the vacuum line for it.

The a/f screw is more for idle adjustment than off idle. Interesting! Could you expand on that please? I was wondering why the AF screw didn't do much @ WOT on my bike. Adjusting the AF mixture screw, does not affect WOT at all?

The a/f screw isn't 100% unrelated for off idle. If you want to adjust the mixture for off idle, do so with the main jet and the needle once the idle has been adjusted. Here is a picture to help visualize and just do a Google search to learn how it works.

So the idle jet reduces fuel flow with open throttle?
I thought that opening the AF screw (run richer), could affect the main JET too, though very little.
Anyone has any idea how much the fuel ratio is, from the AF screw and main jet? (like AF screw only allows 1/10th of main jet's fuel to flow?)

I don't believe it "adds" to the main jet. It is conjunction with it. So, overall fuel going to the cylinder could be affected by the a/f screw. I don't think you are going to get an exact percentage of how much the idle jet affects the overall fuel percentage, especially with the differences in carbs. I think it matters more on paper than real world applications. Once your idle is set, then use the your good judgement to adjust the the needle and main jet to fine tune the happy medium between off idle and wot.
Good luck.

I'm not alone. You should see alleyoop, or some of the other mods Still I don't make it in the top 5! Ever my wife's breakup, I have nothing else to look forward to, than my scoot, my 127cc motorcycle, and perhaps this forum. I'm glad it's here, being a distraction to me.
