Thanks Kat and Scoot! I went for my first ride today as well, got lost going to the hobby shop 2 miles away. Put 68 miles on that trip ;D
On the way back my spedo cable came off and had to stop and put it back on. Other than that it was a blast cruising through the country side. Passed TONS of Harleys, which all waved to me, the only ones that didnt were on croch rockets.

Oh yeah I did! Was a great first trip. I just kept going till I saw an area I knew. Which was only a quarter mile from the hobby shop lol. Maybe I should invest in a gps or something  |

Honey, if you get lost going to your hobby shop two miles away, then I'd say a gps is mandatory equipment for you.
This from the daughter of a man who four years in a row ended up east instead of west, coming to visit me at college.

Well I knew my way, but my dad told me about a back road that was to take me right to it. So I tried it and the road did the job, just took me way out of the way

Yeah. That's just like all my Dad's "shortcuts." They eventually got us back to where we started, but it took a while getting there.
Btb, yes, I got a Garmin. I am, after all, my Dad's daughter! I've only needed it twice, but I sure was thankful for it those two times!
