Hey Biggroovy. What did the Majesty have on it in the first place? (like from the showroom so to speak.)

I like my Michelin City Grip they grip like a gecko on dry wet and cold roads. The bike always feels right and those tires are scrubbed pretty much edge to edge. 2000 miles on mine now and no noticeable wear. Paid $110 for the set

I to agree in one respect. (and Michelin is a high end tire) With something like a Majesty, it should be Quality for the buck.

I personally prefer Kenda K764 series tires. 130/60-13 front and 140/60-13 Rear. Grips the road perfect in rain or shine.

How often should you change your scooter tires?

Depends on wear. They expire after 5 years if you can't manage to wear them out. The rear generally goes faster than the front

Kenda K329 is doing well for me, corners well, smooth, only trouble is with my 250+ lbs. butt on it it has trouble in mud, but any tire would methinks.

I am a big fan of Pirelli tires myself. I had a low profile tire on my 250 pickup a sheet rock screw (maybe going to work in the morning) and I rode it 22 miles or so home and I didn't really notice it being flat. It just felt a little odd in the turns but nothing special though. I had stopped and kicked the tire and it felt OK too. But the next morning when I checked it was definitely flat then. I had the Pirelli SL-26 tires on the scooter. of course the tires have strong sidewalls and it was a bear getting them off and on the wheels. But they stay put good.
