Here is a pic of my rear caliper That red caliper looks like a better, more high-end unit.Mine is your bottom-end, entry-level generic Chinese scooter, with all the "appropriate" parts... LOL! My dual-piston rear caliper and single-piston front caliper are the same ones used on almost every "brand" of inexpensive, "cottage-industry" Chinese ride. The quality is pretty poor, but these generic parts are readily available all over the internet, eBay, etc. At least they aren't overly expensive. The weather has been bad here the last few days, so I've not worked outside. However, I'm going to carefully examine my FRONT caliper too, while all the plastic is off the scoot, just to be sure it's OK. If it even LOOKS suspicious, I'll replace it too. I think these generic scooters, regardless of brand, are often assembled in Chinese homes by little kids forced into what amounts to slave labor. The tell-tale sneaker prints beneath the floorboard are all "little kid" size. Chinese adults aren't THAT small... I have yet to remove a major bolt that was not cross-threaded. The "workers" shove a bolt into place, and hit it with the impact-wrench, with no attempt to start the threads first. There's a reason we can buy a new scooter for less than a grand... We do "get what we pay for" but it's STILL more than a grand worth of scooter, even with the associated problems. I think... Maybe... LOL! Ride safe! Leo
