Need input on hose configuration (150cc TaoTao quantum)  By  jonazthemechanic (Read 338 times)

I had to order a new air filter hose and it doesn't have the same nipple as my 150cc stock Tao Tao quantum. Mine has the Crankcase vent line and valve cover vent connecting to a T and then connecting to a nipple in the air filter hose. Is this stock configuration necessary? The replacement hose I ordered and any others I could find don't show a nipple to end that T line to. I assume the gasses are being routed from the crankcase vent and gearbox vent back into the carb for emissions. Can I just put a fuel filter on the end of it and tie it up somewhere? Any help appreciated. Link to pictures included.
