I just acquired a 2006 Avanti Upsilon 250 yesterday for $100. It has about 1600 miles on it. A few quick searches have turned up nothing on this scooter. I am assuming it is a Chinese scooter but I would like more information on it.
This machine has been sitting in a barn for 6 years. The gas tank is rusted and stinks. The oil is clear and the tires are flat. The whole thing needs a good cleaning but it looks like all of the plastic is there and in excellent shape. It looks like there was once some rubber matting where you place your feet but now is missing. Mice left a nest under the seat but I don’t yet see any damage from them.
I’m looking for information on how I should proceed to get it running and any information about the machine in case I need to purchase some parts. Thanks, Clem
