Hello Im new here and im looking for some help, I got this brand new trike not long ago -2 months- and yesterday it stopped working, not turning on either electric start or kick, my brother in law told me it was the battery but somehow the seat is not opening so I cant reach the battery...Im pretty new about scooters so any kind of help is welcome.

Link to specific model? Is the right-handlebar-grip switch in run position? Fuel-spark-compression troubleshooting . . .

If you turn the key all the way to the left (counter clockwise) you should hear a noise at the back of the seat when it unlatches. As for the battery mine died after about two months. It is under a panel on the floor bead. Get a AGM battery (Ebay) no acid to fill and they last a long time.

If you turn the key to the left (counter clockwise) you should hear a noise near the back of the seat. The battery is under a panel on the floor board. Mine died after less than two months with a trickle charger attached when not riding. Get an AGM battery no acid to mess with and they last much longer. $42.00 with one year free replacement. EBAY.
